I havent seen that one. I was thinking more about Braveheart and the Patriot.I disagree. Mel Gibson's "Passion of the Christ" accurately depicts the death of Jesus and the historical record thereof.

What is your opinion of the film Platoon? In Vietnam it was a lot more than you think due to the VC and NVA attacks on various support facilities. Many support troops had to man the permeter wire during an attack and they did fire their weapons. Not infantry search and destroy but trigger pulling never the less.
Having spent 30 months over there I would guess the number is more than you quoted. Probably higher than WWII but less than Korea.
My son told me that he didn't think one in ten pulled their triggers during the Iraq invasion, which he participated.
If you were in Vietnam and have a different opinion I would like to hear it.
However, that deflection discussion has nothing to do with the despicable way that the Libtard turds in Hollywood have portrayed the war.
The parts about what it was like to be a new guy was fairly accurate. What is your opinion of the film Platoon?
Hmmm, almost can't remember when a film scooped the researchers. No, I can't.The Film has not been universally panned .
Several reputable major critics have reviewed it very favourably .
It may be that Scott has given the public a more honest portrait of someone who actually was far from a military genius and not a pleasant individual .
Time will allow for a more balanced assessment
I speak French. taught it, my History masters is mostly that.and English propaganda is perfidious....Wrong! Libtards like you are considered the most obnoxious assholes in the world.
It is a frigging movie. If you are dependent upon Hollywood to teach you history then you are an idiot.

Napoleon always said he was a democrat, we'll never know because the perfidious ones never allowed peace. Napoleon was slightly taller than average etc etc... You're all full oof English BS lol...It is perplexing that the French, with their deep commitment to republican ideals, so revere Napoleon. His whole existence was based upon making war. He was an expert at it, but that is hardly admirable. The destruction of France and Europe that ensued is not fully taken into account. The two World Wars can almost be entirely laid at his feet, ultimately, not to mention the millions of dead directly from his butchery.
Who is this "all" whom you address? Do you dispute Napoleon's failures and excesses? Of course the English have a self-interested twist to this story as they always do. That doesn't let the "Emperor" off the hook for screwing France, Europe and the ideals of the republican revolution.Napoleon always said he was a democrat, we'll never know because the perfidious ones never allowed peace. what is wrong with the film
All the English speakers especially the conservatives (socialists are communists BS). He never had peace, UK could always buy a new coalition. The sixth finally won and put corrupt royalty back in....Who is this "all" whom you address? Do you dispute Napoleon's failures and excesses? Your command of English is rather lacking. Your understanding of Napoleon is similar. All the English speakers especially the conservatives (socialists are communists BS). He never had peace, UK could always buy a new coalition. The sixth finally won and put corrupt royalty back in....
BS lol. I lost voice Text. I also know the French side, speak French, Sorbonne etc...and the socialists WON in continental Europe lol...also in uk, just have to call them Labour.....Your command of English is rather lacking. Your understanding of Napoleon is similar.
Then you know what French Socialists and Communists think of Napoleon. The common knowledge of him is like any country's historical lore; distorted and glorifying to the general image of the nation despite all the negative. Just like Americans who only see their history as the savior of mankind. Nice to think that. Makes living more comfortable.BS lol. I lost voice Text.
