Take Jesse Watters, an opponent of DEI. Here he complains that a veteran buddy of his named Chris who has been fired by DOGE was treated unfairly and that really veterans should receive preferential treatment when selecting people to fire - that special treatment amounts to DEI.

Just like hiring, firing too should be merit based - yes? anyone?

Yes, well said. The ineptitude of Musk "leading" DOGE is now very clear, it is whim, theater, just sweeping firings with all the attendant drama and self congratulation we've come to expect from magats.

Everything we do is not two separate factions with a wide gap in between. There is inter connections with the fingers on a lot of it which fogs up the inefficiencies of anything. So, you will find some issues.

A four star general is going to get a healthy retirement for the rest of his life and his spouses life, with benefits.

I also have a friend who's a senior police officer in Baltimore, most recently he was leading a SWAT team. He was a keen Trump supporter during Trump's first term but I recently learned from another friend that he's absolutely outraged at the Trump pardons for violent cop beaters.

Seeing Police getting beaten just ran too deep inside his psyche to be excused.
