Fox News, euphemistically called the Trump Network, has an unenviable task. It has taken on the daunting mission of supporting the most incompetent President in American history. In addition to being incompetent, Trump is encumbered with extreme paranoia and narcissism, in addition to lacking intellectual prowess. He is as discreet as a raging bull.

Fox News, which I watch every day of the week, has taken on the challenge of defending this man.

They do this in a very unique way. Much like Trump's followers, Fox News avoids mentioning him.

Much like Trump's followers, they do it this way for a reason. The coronavirus pandemic is raging out of control. 30 states are seeing a surge of new cases. There were over 35,600 new cases in one day. Hospitalizations from Covid-19 are also rising in 16 states as of Wednesday, and a Miami hospital reported a 108% increase in covid patients. More deaths are likely to follow in two to three weeks. That has been the pattern.

Today's segment of "Bill Hemmer Reports" was much like so many other segments. There was not one news story concerning Trump on any subject, let alone what he is doing about the pandemic crisis. The one hour show concentrated on what Trump is concerned about; the border wall, national monuments, BLM leaders, Joe Biden, law and order, and defunding Obamacare during a pandemic. Fox spent a good share of its time on the Ford F-150 and a lawsuit against the Seattle mayor as if this was of paramount importance to Fox viewers. Well, maybe the F-150 was.

Honestly, the hour long show was painful to watch.

Assuming Trump's fans watch Fox more than any other news network, it did provide clarity on a very strange phenomenon. Why is it Trump's followers do not defend him from his critics, and why do they avoid Trump?

Watching Fox News, one gets the answer. As much as it can, Fox avoids Trump. When Fox offers commentary in support of Trump, the misrepresentations and omissions are so obvious a child could counter them. Even Trump's fans wouldn't dare use the arguments on political forum such as this one.

This explains to some degree why Trump's followers are unable to support Trump, and why they avoid him, preferring to talk about Joe Biden, liberals, Pelosi, national monuments, law and order; anything but Trump.

Were you expecting trump to pull a rabbit out of a hat and make the chinese disease go away?

no one can do that

and if you are getting tired of liberals running wild in the streets and setting things on fire blame the liberal mayors and governors in the deep blue cities where the lawlessness is taking place

We need at least one Media outlet who stands up for real Americans and the President fighting for them. It's too bad there is only Fox News.

Poor old FN viewers probably can't afford an $$$ F-150. Dreaming on with brainwashing included. Sounds painful.

CNN & MSDNC are propaganda outlets, not news networks. They never have competent Republicans on to debate the democrat spewers. Its all fake news all the time.
FXN ALWAYS has democrats in the debates. Donna Brazille, Marie Harf, Juan Williams, and many others are always there to present the democrat's position.

The OP needs to prepare himself for the coming debates between Joe Biden and Trump. Those debates should be enlightening, unless Joe chickens out?!

Fox News, euphemistically called the Trump Network
Really, Skanks? Fox News has been on the air longer than 3.5 years! How very snowflake of you to be so threatened by one little network out of your dozen or so that actually tells BOTH sides of the story.
And they have also reported negatively of Trump on any number of occasions.

Fox used to have more diversity of opinion and a lot more debating. As far as Trump, how anyone can defend him is beyond me, I mean not everything he’s done has been bad, but he literally marched people to death with how he’s handled COVID.

Who has more power/authority to manage COVID, Trump or the governors? QED.

Fox has been slowly backing away from Trump.

Not toward Biden, mind you. Away from Trump. Who knows, they might actually live up to the "fair and balanced" horseshit they claim they aspire to, in another century or so.

The far more insane, and Russian propaganda outlet, OANN, has taken up the Trump piss drinking mantle.

The OANN fake news peddler who invented the laughably stupid conspiracy theory about the old dude who was shoved by the cops (which Trump guzzled and regurgitated with gusto) is employed by Sputnik, the Russian state media.

Thanks for admitting you don't watch Fox.
Except for Carlson, Hannity, Ingraham, Hilton and Pierro, Fox hates MAGA Trump.

Moron...Fox was 90% against Trump in 2016.
Fox loves Globalism as much as MSNBC and CNN.

Trump recently tweeted that Fox News is not helping him get re-elected.

That's right, folks. The moron in the White House thinks the media is supposed to be his bitch. But we already knew that. He's just getting more blatant about it.

Trump is a Third World dictator trapped in a US President's body.

Which network is the ONLY network which broadcasts Trump's rallies in their entirety but never the rallies of Democrats?

Fox News.

In fact, Fox News had such an infatuation with Trump, they used to interrupt their broadcasts to show an EMPTY LECTERN at which Trump was going to appear eventually.

They never did that for any other candidate, Republican or Democrat.

Nice try at revisionism, sucker.

Sean Hannity will always be Trump's piss drinking bitch boi, and Trump will always be his.

Whenever Trump spouts something stupid, it is a chicken-or-the-egg question as to which of them came up with it.

Their two brains together add up to a tadpole's.
