I explained it above. What part do you not understand? Not sure how you think that insurance is making medical care more expensive for people who aren’t on insurance.

You said it does, but you never provided an explanation.I explained it above. What part do you not understand?
LessYou said it does, but you never provided an explanation.
Without insurance, would medicine be more or less expensive?
Less.Would doctors visits be more or less expensive? Why or why not?
The reason there's no affordable health care is that there's no demand for affordable health care. Health care consumers are either covered by insurance, and don't care how much their health care costs. Or must rely on welfare or charity, and don't care how much their health care costs. Since health care consumers don't care how much health care costs, prices go up.
If most people were paying for most of their health care out of pocket (like they pay for all their other needs), there would be a demand for affordable health care and the health care industry would respond to that demand.
This appears to be entirely based on wishful thinking.I have a market based view of medicine. You have a socialist view of medicine.

You clearly don't understand markets and I didn't have much interest in explaining it to you again. This appears to be entirely based on wishful thinking.
There can be demand for a $15,000 Ferrari but it's not going to happen just because there is demand. Things don't get cheap because there's demand for them to be cheap. When people can't afford something, they substitute or do without.
I've been wondering about the same. He seems to just feel entitled to charity. Look, I'm a convicted felon and a spoiled brat. I accidentally fell off my polo pony. Throw me money!Congress gets better medical than Tricare for Life.
All congress retirees get it.
