Someone should remind members of the brass that they are sworn to protect the people of this country, and that how they go about doing it is best left to the commander-in-chief we elect to do so.'

This should not be allowed and we should recognize it was because Biden wanted a person of color in that slot....no matter if he got propped up and boosted thrughout his career not because of merit but because of Affirmative Action.

Would you want to be a passenger on a plane flown by a pilot who got the job because of Affirmative Action?

Would you want to have surgery by a doctor who got through medical school because of Affirmative Action?

Yet....here we are as a nation....with a secretary of defense whose only credentials for that job is because of his skin color?

The humaitarian crisis in Afghanistan is owned by him and biden.

If I was a successful black man who got ahead because of ability, hard work and sacrifice — affirmative action would piss me off. many people would attribute my success to affirmative action not to me.

The answer is probably never. Now we live in a nation where quotas are more important than qualifications. That may soon enable the Chinese to replace us as the world leader.

In a Sept. 15 statement, Joint Staff spokesperson Col. Dave Butler confirmed that the calls took place but defended them as proper and in keeping with Milley’s role.

“The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs regularly communicates with Chiefs of Defense across the world, including with China and Russia. These conversations remain vital to improving mutual understanding of U.S. national security interests, reducing tensions, providing clarity, and avoiding unintended consequences or conflict,” Butler’s statement read.

“His calls with the Chinese and others in October and January were in keeping with these duties and responsibilities conveying reassurance in order to maintain strategic stability. All calls from the Chairman to his counterparts, including those reported, are staffed, coordinated, and communicated with the Department of Defense and the interagency.”
