Not the newest drugs. We do research, which is the heavy lifting. Pharma charges US citizens as much as 10 times what they charge Switzerland, for example, for the same drug. That is likely because these countries with socialized medicine don't have the healthcare budgets to pay top dollar.

They need incentive. This is why very few innovations, relative to the US, come out of other “advanced” countries that espouse your left-wing ideals. Why would government want to spend so much money to develop drugs to save people. Sick people cost them money and it would be much easier just to let them die off. There are many factors going into our lower life expectancy than some countries. Poor healthcare is not the major contributor. The best doctors in the world are here, in the US. We are rich. We are fat and happy. There are consequences to that type of lifestyle.
