For years Democrats have begged for higher taxes…if that’s what tariffs are then why all the resistance?

What is stupid is believing the rich ever paid “their fair share” and not accepting the fact that our spending has gotten out of control.

Nope, we spend less of GDP on government services compared to the more prosperous European nations.

The problem is, most of our 7 Trillion budget are things that can't be touched.

1.5 Trillion for SocialSecurity.
1 Trillion for Medicare
1 Trillion for Defense
1 Trillion for Interest on the Debt because the rich didn't pay their fair share.
Half a trillion for Medicaid.

So that's five Trillion, right there.

Most of the rest is roads, infrastructure, etc. that we don't spend enough on, that's why it's crumbling.

But let's fuck them poor people over by cutting what little they have.

You have to first explain “fair share”

Wealthy people should pay all of the taxes. Without our labor and sacrifice these scoundrels would have nothing.

Slugs and “the less than capable”, such as yourself need to pay your fair share.

You don’t care about them anymore than hey are useful to your argument. The problem with your Alinsky tactics is that they’re worn out.
How is the truth an Alinksy tactic, you muttonhead?

And this for the kill.

You lost your argument at “the more prosperous” European Nations. Do you think if we shifted spending from this to infrastructure we could meet in the middle:

- $42 Million Johns Hopkins Research and Drive Social Change in Uganda.

-$20M for Fiscal Federalism in Nepal

-$18M for Biodiversity Conservation in Nepal

-$1.5M for Voter Confidence in Liberia

-$14M for Social Cohesion in Mali

-$2.5M for Inclusive Democracies in South Africa

-$47M for Improving Learning outcomes in Asia

-$14M for Improving Public Procurement in Serbia

-$422M for improving Political Process in Moldova

-$21M for Voter Turnout in India

-$2.3M for Strengthening Independent Voices in Cambodia

-$32M for the Prague Civil Centre

-$10M for Voluntary Circomscisions in Mozambique

-$40M to Improve the Inclusion of Sedentary Migrants

$520M for Environmental Consultation

What is their fair share?

Because it's a tax on the working class and not the wealthy, who need to be paying more in taxes.

Duh.
Which is why the 16th Amendment was adopted to the Constitution by popular support of the people.

We've already seen this loser tariff policy, by another loser President before.

And this current loser actually believes he's going to get another big tax cut for his billionaire buddies passed, while we pay these tariffs.

The obvious concern trolls of USMB are obvious though

The rich get our best years and our children's lives. They should pay for it all. Every cent. Their power must be crushed so filth like you can't peddle their lies
Get ready for decades and decades of frustration, PoliSci I boy.

Sure. What they were paying before Reagan fucked up the Tax Code would be fine.

Now, left up to me, we'd confiscate everything they have and harvest them for transplant organs, but that would be a bit harsh, so I'll just go with returning to the pre-Reagan rates.

To even talk about this those at the government level the numbers you typed need to be accurate. One of the Prog tricks also is making sure they put programs like Social Security or the VA in front of all of the social justice goodies that have ramped up over the decades also. National Health Insurance sounds good, right? If we get it, the promised costs compared to the actual costs are two different animals. Medicaid and Medicare legislation when started the promised outlays over the actual outlays over the decades are nowhere near what was envisioned. And medicine has become a business due to this. Just to say, there are some not to good dentists and doctors out there along those who associate with them at their work also.

Well, if we had socialized medicine, you'd be able to get your medications, so there's that.

The reality is, our hybrid system of private and public insurance makes our system the most expensive in the world due to overhead and preventive medicine.

We spend 17% of our GDP on Healthcare, compared to single payer countries, which spend less than 10%, and get far better results.

So, above 70%? Why should there be a penalty for achieving success?

What’d they do to you?

I'll answer that on his behalf.

Pure envy. Nothing more.
Isn’t that sad? Joe knows he’ll never attain that kind of success, so he wants to destroy those who have…he’s a child, who’s never been told no.
