In addition to being poorly written, the author fails to recognize a key distinction:

None of the candidates mentioned attacked the physical characteristics of opponents, mentioned bodily functions of members of the press, or postulated about how their own infant daughters' breasts might turn out.

If past presidential candidates have viewed every other human being alive as mere objects, they at least had the sense to keep it to themselves.
