Climate "science" has used something called "ice cores" from both. An "ice core" is a cylindrical cut of the ice, from which we get annual data. This is because EVERY YEAR another LAYER OF ICE is ADDED to BOTH GREENLAND AND ANTARCTICA, even as "Dag" can PARROT they are "melting..."
