Trump vows to campaign against Murkowski after she backs Mattis
Trump responded as he typically does: with a Twitter thread.

More of Crazy Donald's retribution against anyone in the party who has the audacity to publicly rebuke him? Certainly not.
More Repubs, whether they be in Congress, the media, local politics.....whatever........who take a principled stand against the immoral, amoral, corrupt, and incompetent reign of terror currently being inflicted by the Orange Fraud. The country is better off if we have the other major political party grounded in rational, fact based thinking with a focus on making the US better. A better place to live, a better partner with our allies, and a more sound opponent to our enemies. That means we must be fiscally responsible, environmentally proactive, and set an example of moral and democratic leadership the world can follow. Not have a leader who despots around the world can rely on for support.
But Repubs like Murkowski have not been speaking up to add their voices to those like Gen. Mattis' (thank you general) because of an obvious reason. Individual 1 is still popular with the base of the party. Meaning elected Repub officials are putting their personal political fortunes above what is best for the US. And clearly, now more than ever before, what's best is to rid ourselves of this unfit, unqualified, man who conned his way in to the WH.
So it's time for those people to put personal ambitions aside. It's time for them to do the right thing and condemn this abomination of a man when condemnation is called for. It's time for more Repubs to stop being silent or cowed or cowardly and say publicly what they think privately. That Trump is a danger to this nation and has not earned the right to lead it for another 4 years.
