Trump supports allowing some illegals to stay, if they are "needed", and last I checked, he supports a "pathway to citizenship"... which is basically rewarding law-breaking. So BL can't say anything to me about that issue, because he will have no leg to stand on.

Correction: I shouldn't have used the phrase pathway to citizenship, because what I meant was a pathway to becoming legal (which doesn't necessarily mean a citizen, just from illegal to legal, with a visa. But the point still stands, it's rewarding law-breaking in my view.)

Thats not what imperialism means.

Imperialism is a broad term that CAN mean physical takeover of another nation. But it is true it can mean other things like economic control. That aside, President Trump was legally justified to remove Maduro as he is a recognized international criminal and illegitimate leader. That's why Biden put a $25 million dollar bounty on his head.

Furthermore, we are also fully justified to restore and benefit from the oil refineries that US oil companies built for Venezuela decades ago. There was enormous investment in capital and talent to bring those refineries on line and the US was per agreement importing much of that oil. Chavez seized power, "nationalized" the oil refineries and promptly ran the oil industry into the ground along with the country. Maduro made things even worse especially by targeting the US with illegal drugs.
