For 8 years the right has been called racist.

amazing you're more upset about people pointing out racism than you are actual racists

no. wait. not amazing. sad and predictable.

It's division incitement. Nothing more, nothing less. Does Racism still exist? Of course it does. But nowhere near the extent the Democrat Party is pushing.

Democrats use Race-Baiting as a weapon. It's about the 'Divide and Conquer.' Hopefully Americans will catch on at some point. They're being manipulated.

The democrat party is the party of racism...they are obsessed with it and use it as a tool to acquire power......

Yeah George Wallace and his white supremacists used to say it was everyone else who was racist too.

Now go cheer for more unarmed black men Ronnie murderers by police.

And tell us you aren't a bigot so we can laugh at you.

You mean like today, when you dems say that it is your opponents who are racists while you support policies that give special treatment based on race?
Democrats have been indoctrinated to judge people only on the color of their skin....it's a hold over from the days when they permitted themselves to enslave blacks....

The change from pandering to white racists to pandering to black racists did seem to be like flipping a switch.

Now if Hillary is elected that meme will change to sexist.
Liberals just can't fathom that people vehemently disagree with their positions. Their tunnel vision blinds them completely to the fact that their train of thought is but one narrow view of the world.

Democrats cry racist because their ideas are illogical and don't work
We cry racism when we see it. Period. This should not bother anyone who is not racist.

Yep. They know it puts their target on the defensive and usually allows them to avoid the conversation.

The fact that conversation is critical to healing racial wounds does not matter to them, and it's entirely possible they don't want it to happen at all, for obvious reasons.
.

It is very depressing.

And all trends point to this paradigm growing stronger and stronger for the foreseeable future.

How long is half the nation going to put up with ALWAYS being dismissed and vilified?
Looking at it from a political (yuck) perspective, one of the things it will take is for the Republican party to improve its message and its messaging and to use better messengers. I'm dead serious about that.

I realize that it goes against its core to single out individual groups - and I agree and sympathize with that - but the party needs to see that it's the only way this can be done. The notion that "we are for everyone" simply will not work after generations of the Democrats' strategy of singling them out and isolating them.

The message, messaging and messengers need to be upgraded. That would be a start.
.

Can't work for three reasons.

1. Our messages will not be heard, due to filtering by the media and by being drowned out by the lies.

I was talking to NAT yesterday, and I said that Hillary had rode her husbands career to a position of power. He came back to me and ridiculed me for claim that no woman could ever rise to high office on her own.

That is how the media and pop culture presents our message to the people. As long as that is the case we will never make any headway.

2. The only way to pander to any group other than whites would mean betraying the interests of their base in order to ATTEMPT to reach out to other groups. And they would fail, anyways, and lose support from their base in the process. This only accelerates the arrival of the One Party State that is our almost certain future.

3. And if the GOP is betraying the interests of my group, (the largest single group in the nation) and/or the nation as a whole to pander to the interests of minorities, then what is the point? At that point, me and mine are are out in the Cold forever, with our interests and agenda to never again be the platform of any national party.
Oh, I disagree, it can work. And giving up before really trying is just playing right into the hands of the Left. If you (a) want to improve the relationship between the party and Black Americans, and (b) truly & sincerely believe that the party is better for them personally, then you have no choice - you have to give it your best shot, don't you?

Look at how the Left has done it - a clear, consistent message over time. It won't happen overnight. They have been patient with their message and their messaging, and it has paid off handsomely for them. And the media CANNOT IGNORE a clear, consistent message if delivered at every opportunity and en masse.

This may blow your mind, but I give Trump great credit for at least trying. Yes, he's a horrific messenger, and yes, his "what have you got to lose" thing was predictably ham-handed and sloppy, but at least he TRIED.

What do the REPUBLICANS have to lose?
.

1. Trump's brash New York City persona is actually PERFECT "messaging" to reach out to "urban" blacks. And the only effect has been increased vitriol from the media that blacks have accepted and internalized.

2. Trump's plank of trying to bring back manufacturing jobs would disproportionately benefit blacks. And it was like throwing a pebble into the ocean. Plop, and zero ripples.

3. Trump's plank of deporting illegals and limiting further immigration would disproportionately benefit blacks. Nothing.

4. Thank you for giving Trump credit for trying.
Trumps persona in NYC was to build apartments where blacks were not welcome, to build golf courses where blacks were not welcome. A guy who builds stuff for rich white guys

As for the rest, blacks have heard it all before. The rising economic tide promised by Republicans that never seems to reach the lowest levels

Until Republicans can actually SHOW the jobs they are bringing, they will no longer be believed

Racism, left or right, will be called out. The Corrells will have no place to hide.

Anybody pointed out yet that for 8 years the right said the only reason Obama was elected is because he's black?

And when he started and was popular they cons went out of their way to say he's 1/2 white .
And then in desperation they began calling him a Muslim to stir more hatred against him.

1. The way the blacks abandoned Hillary in the Primaries and the way the Media turned their partisan bias up to eleven was certainly huge race based advantages.

2. Pointing out his mutli-racial background is no more racist than celebrating the "First Black President".

3. So, you are part of the large group of people that believe that a person's childhood environment does NOT effect him. Got it. It is not racist of me to believe that a person's childhood environment DOES effect him.

4. You are both race baiters.

Just telling it like I see it. This thread was started wh the premiss that the GOP has wrongly been smeared wh this "racist" tag . Lol, it ain't wrong , it's justified .

No, the right will still be racist.
For the last 8 years, Tom Brady has been called a great quarterback.
Because he is a great quarterback.

Do you see how this works?
Hmmm let me see.....

I have been called:
the world's best dad
The coolest grandpa
The best remodeling contractors
The most amazing husband
The nicest person ever met
The best grandson a grandmother can have
The best brother ever

Etc...

So I guess I am all those things huh?
Al Capone was called the same things. So what is your point?
Robert E. Lee seems like he was probably an agreeable fellow. So was George Washington.

Why do you keep addressing your Nazi overlords?
Are you denying that we have significant racism now, and even more in the recent past, against black Americans?

It sounds like you are.

I'm pointing out that you are a mindless demagogue who slanders and libels those who are identified as enemies of your shameful party.

And yeah, that does make you a fucking scumbag..
I don't have a party, dumbass.
I am just tired of stupid white people.
It is time to wake the fuck up.
If I said I was tired of "stupid black people" you would say that was racist so how the fuck is your statement any different? Live by the sword, die by the sword.

Dumbfuck
The difference is that I am white. Please show me the time when whites have had a serious and no holds barred discussion amongst ourselves about racial oppression.

We have heard what black ought to do to shore up their communities. But we are not black. So it is pretty easy to point to others and say what they ought to do. But it is much harder to do the same in our own houses.

No one is denying racism exists.
Trump is, and so is his supporters. Saying that black communities are the worst ever, ever (notice the double “ever” making it near impossible to misinterpret?).

That is both insane and über racist. It is racist because it is denial of much worse racial oppression of the past and ongoing oppression of the present. It is literally saying to white people (the overwhelming majority of his audience) that blacks were better off when whites were oppressing and brutalizing them at will.

You're full of shit, when you can't verify the citizenship.
Sorry, it is insane to think we can't verify the citizenship. Do you think our country has no idea who our citizens are?

There are these things that have been around for thousands of years called “lists.”

Race-Baiting is a weapon. It's a dirty lowdown Democrat tactic. It's a Communist Organizer's favorite weapon of choice. It's about the 'Divide and Conquer.'

It's all in Saul Alinsky's 'Rules for Radicals.' Hopefully one day most Americans will see it for what it is. Racial Division is being used as a weapon by the Democrat Party. Simple as that.
amazing you're more upset about people pointing out racism than you are actual racists

The democrat party is the party of racism...they are obsessed with it and use it as a tool to acquire power......

It's a Communist Organizing weapon. Democrats adhere to Saul Alinsky teachings. A big part of Alinsky teachings is about inciting anger and violence. Promoting racial disharmony is a vital tool used to achieve anger and violence. They have to stir it up. They have to divide the People. It's a very sad and dirty tactic.

Yes, and you see it everywhere because your ideas are illogical and don't work so you can't argue content

They certainly don't follow Martin Luther King's teachings. They use the Race-Baiting as a weapon. They divide the People. It's a 'Divide and Conquer' strategy. Obviously there's still racism in America. But not nearly to the extent the Democrats are pushing. They're just dividing the People with Race-Baiting incitement. It's done intentionally.

Many conservatives are both sexist and racist. Trump is the personification of these people.

The chorus of the Alt Right and Far Right are beginning to fail and fade in tone as they see their demise approaching rapidly.

you are so full of shit. You cry racism to marginalize those who challenge your agenda.

Your race baiting is tearing this nation apart.

You are smearing good people for political gain.

Tax cuts have historically increased revenue.

The only thing that increases deficits and debt is spending

facepalm.jpg

I see you are committed to proving me 100% correct by displaying that you conservatives are operating on blatant falsehoods.

Tax cuts have not "historically increased revenue". The claim is nothing but a rightwing myth based on piss-poor understanding of revenue drivers (out of which long term economic growth, not minor tax-rate adjustments is a primary factor).

We've had record high revenues in 1990s and record LOW revenues since early 2000. Are you going to tell me that Clinton passed tax cuts and Bush expired them? o_O

tax-revenue-as-percentage-of-gdp1.png

I know you won't take MY word for it, but I do urge you to read up on what SANE, NON-IGNORANT conservatives sound like when it comes to tax-cut effects:

Greg Mankiw's Blog: On Charlatans and Cranks

Here is what Bush's former chair of economic advisors, conservative and tax-cut suporter had to say to after Bush made the tax-cuts-increased-revenues claim in his SoTU speech:

You are smart people. You know that the tax cuts have not fueled record revenues. You know what it takes to establish causality. You know that the first order effect of cutting taxes is to lower tax revenues. We all agree that the ultimate reduction in tax revenues can be less than this first order effect, because lower tax rates encourage greater economic activity and thus expand the tax base. No thoughtful person believes that this possible offset more than compensated for the first effect for these tax cuts. Not a single one. - Andrew Samwick

There is only one group of people that believes that tax-cuts at current rates increase revenues - FAR RIGHT POLITICOS. That's what it takes to believe that nonsense. Conservative economists reject it and high profile Republicans no longer try to claim it.

As a percentage of GDP? That is a very odd standard to use. Why not actual revenue, perhaps per capita?

ODD? Because you think it is odd? %GDP is the standard adjustment for economy size and inflation. It is the norm of historic spending and revenues comparison. Per capita revenue (which still doesn't adjust for avg. income growth) trend was also way down by the way, if you look it up, this time yourself perhaps.

Like I said, this is the problem with conservatives, you make up your own facts. Economists? Professional experts? Studies? Fuck that, you know it all in your gut because you heard some rightwing politicos like Rush say it and you really liked the way it sounded.

It is very depressing.

And all trends point to this paradigm growing stronger and stronger for the foreseeable future.

1. Your race baiting is noted.

2. Trump's challenge to the Free Traders inside and outside of the GOP is a complete change, that has not been offered to the American people for a long time. For you to say it is the same old, same old is a lie.

That you seem to think you need to lie in order to make your case, shows that you know you cannot make your case honestly.

3. LOL!! Republicans have delivered on jobs before, and you libs just lie and smear all the more.

Non existence, NOT.
Texas had zero examples of in-person voter impersonation fraud when it presented its case in court. That is the only kind of fraud that photo ID might mitigate (if there was actually a problem to mitigate).

It is NOT a hot button issue. What is a hot button isssue is whether states have a right to use a completely bogus reason to inact new voter laws that once again disenfranchise blacks disproportionately.

That is a form of propaganda. Also dishonest.

My points, since you were unable to challenge them, stand as the final word on the subject.
