Maybe I live a sheltered life because I don't get the housing thing. I bought my place in 2021 and my rate is below 3% on a 30 year fixed loan. Mortgage rates are still low today. Why rent if you can buy cheap?

It is going to be a major task to get inflation under control. Start with decreasing expansive government, flood the market with oil and gas, decrease elective/permanent spending, decrease burdensome, consultation rich regulations and try and avoid WWIII
