It was "Burning of the Midnight Lamp" on the B side single with "All Along the Watchtower" on the A side.

Sorry for the bad digital rendition of this recording. If you have Electric Ladyland spin it. Mesmerizing song.

"Speaking about the musical content of the song, Shapiro and Glebbeek note that "Burning of the Midnight Lamp" features Hendrix playing a harpsichord in the intro, which the musician states "just came to [him]", joking that he "can't play no piano or harpsichord, [he] just picked out different little notes and started from there".[6] The track also marks Hendrix's first use of the wah-wah effect on his guitar recording, described by the Jimi Hendrix: Electric Gypsy authors as "a sound forever associated with Jimi Hendrix."

Probably my favorite song of his is Red House.
Next to that is Wind Cries Mary

I thought Peter Fucking Frampton invented the Wah...Wah.....

Oh yeah... watch him with a 12 string acoustic.... no mistakes or off sounds.

The Thomas Organ Co made the first wah wah.

Jimi's was made by VOX.
