It's protected speech by a legislation controlled platform. The Whitehouse was PROHIBITED from saying anything to Facebook by SCOTUS by a published decision.

This is defiance of the laws of the land. Why are you being difficult....it was settled law for them to say nothing but they broke the law by saying something. Whether Facebook complied or not isn't as relevant but since they complied it only makes matters worse.

In order for government to violate the First Amendment, it must seek to silence speech through some punitive measure – such as imprisonment or a fine.

Not only is FB not subject to punitive measures by government, but it’s editing its content of its own free will, absent government interference or coercion.

And as documented in post #6, government is at liberty to express opinions concerning various issues, to advocate for policies, and to refuse to promote through speech that which government opposes.
