Not anyone in the whole world is able to understand the "politics" of Russia any longer. Finland is in high danger of a totally incalculable senseless and totally stupid "operation" from pseudo-Dr. Vladimir Putin-Russia. Become real! The Russian people are no one's enemy. But Russia is everyones enemy now - including an enemy of the own immature citizens. And specially also an enemy of all nations who signed on rational reasons the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.

It's not a joke to threaten anyone with the use of nukes - it's a heavy crime to do so!!! If other nations in the world will start now to develope nukes then the complete world politics will become a chaos and the survival of all mankind is anyway not a very big chance any longer. Never the world was more in the danger of a wordwide nuclear disaster in the last 50 years! Russia - stop your totally wrong way and turn back! Start peace - not wars!

An information - and not a point I will discuss now. The last unmanipulated free elections in Germany had been in November 1932. Hitlers political party got about 33% of the votes - he lost about 2 million votes (~15 % of his voters). President Hindenburg made him to the chancellor of Germany in 1933. Hitler governed with exceptional statuts. In March 1933 the SPD (a comparable political party with the "the democrats" of the USA) was the only political party voting against Hitlers enabling act. This enabling act was the end of the democracy in Germany. Nevertheless Hitler was in the first years a very admired politician worldwide. The destruction of the German democracy and the racist laws against Jews played not a big role. Some people of German underground organisations had even to stop their plans to assassinate Hitler, because he had been internationally so unbelievable successful and no one had understood why some people tried to murder this tyrant.

To avoid this war, The U.S. could have simply pledged military protection for Volodymyr Zelensky against the far-right extremists who were threatening to lynch him if he enacted the peacemaking policies he was elected president to enact.

To be clear, what we are indulging in here is entirely an act of fantasy. We are imagining what would have happened had the U.S. pledged to protect the Ukrainian government from an undemocratic violent overthrow at the hands of fascists instead of waging a horrific proxy war. In that, we are also imagining a world in which the U.S. government acts in the highest interest of all instead of working continuously to dominate the planet no matter how much madness and cruelty it inflicts upon humanity. That would be a world in which the U.S. had not been taking the steps that it has for many yearsto orchestrate this proxy war.
