Well, last week, I and a few friends went knocking on doors in our own neighborhoods to discuss voting against the bailout. We gave phone numbers and emails to US representatives and senators with an overwhelming majority who were against this bailout. Almost everyone agreed to take action. Seems like it worked for the House but not the Senate. Now, the House votes again. I called this morning to my state rep and the aide told me that an overwhelming number were saying no. In a microcosm of our sad state of affairs in regards to senators and representatives representing the people, Feinstein, from her own mouth, fielded 91,000 calls, 85,000 of which told her office to vote no, and she went against the people. Now, this is not only a democrat thing, republicans are doing the same thing. This is unacceptable. I'm not sure what else there is to do.
