what is a "maroon"?.....They didn't work well as slaves; blacks made awful slaves. They ran away and became Maroons in the Caribbean, after slavery here they were content to live as subsistence farmers. They sabotaged livestock and equipment, the whole thing just never did work out. They just never had a European-type work ethic, presumably because of the fruitful condition of African food supplies where they could live a very basic life without much work at all. This is a deep cultural difference which persists to this day and underlies our current troubles.
I guess you never watched Looney Toons. It's Bugs Bunny's catch phrase.what is a "maroon"?.....
and they dont get touched in this new restrictions bill the dipshits just passed......Clark County uses around only 2% of the water from Lake Mead. We are not the problem. The California agriculture industry is the main water hog.

Feds call for water cutbacks 'to avoid a catastrophic collapse' of Colorado River
The Department of the Interior has called for water cutbacks amid a 23-year drought made worse by high heat and low precipitation brought on by climate change.www.cnbc.com
But by all means, let's keep importing millions of illegal immigrants into the southwest each year to consume more and more water.
aww ok....thanks...i thought it was a misspell.....Lol I was gonna say. Anyway, Maroons (capital "M") are groups in the Caribbean who are descendents of escaped slaves.

If only anyone on this forum held a conservative view you might have a point.
Runaway blacks in the Caribbean who banded together in the mountains of Jamaica. They were called Maroons --- I think they gave themselves that name, but I'm not sure. Reading about sugar slavery and also the diaries of planters and overseers of that time is absolutely fascinating. Though hair-raising. We simply cannot imagine.what is a "maroon"?.....
You wouldn't know what conservative meant if it bit you in the ass.

Damn shame you lack the basic intellect to understand irony.

"Loyal to Trump"?
Where did you get that claptrap about Africa from? They didn't work well as slaves; blacks made awful slaves. Yeah, you go with that Sparky. Actually, a bit disappointed, was kind of a lame comeback.![]()
I am sure for you it was. You lack the IQ to get the irony of a Trump worshiper thinking they are a Conservative.
Anything you say re: Trump is just bloviated hot air, you're not rational on the topic, you're incapable of logic when that name is brought up. One of the worst cases of TDS I've seen on here really.![]()
Well hell, just shut them down, solves all kinds of problems, doesn't it?![]()
