Facts favor monkeys, while the law favors dogs.

Primates are related to us, humans are primates, the great apes are especially close to us.
This means that they can communicate with us, and interact with us, and display to a certain extent... human-like cognitive abilities.
And can process, understand, and to a certain extent, utilize human language

They can understand and on its own, complete a complex process

Primates live in Family units the same as humans.
They do not live in packs, herds, or solitary.

Their diet is only slightly different from ours, they eat less meat than we do, but they are still omnivores.

This similarity to us, makes us safer around other primates, than around entirely other branches of mammals, especially carnivores.

Which is why I have a pet monkey, and not a dog.

But I am licensed to hell to have it, and my choices in real estate is limited... because while the facts favor the monkey, and other primates... the law favors dogs.

That kind of ticks me off though about the law.
