you seem to miss the fact, dingbat, that your "summary"
is something like the CLASSIC COMIC version of the bible.
Try to pull yourself out of Sunday school. As to your "thousands
of years of transmission......." you got that carbon dated?
So no comment about the Israeli physicist who said the account of Genesis matches the Big Bang?
"....thousands of years of transmission......... ? what does that
analogy have to do with anything-----the hindu version is also .......
.....comparable
It has to do with the account of a Genesis called it 6,000 years before science did.

it has to do with the universe was created. It literally popped into existence just as Genesis claims.
Genesis 1:27 can you please explain to us what happened to her?
You do realize that You're asking a missionary,
who makes up his mambo jambo without reference in the text?

Go to the source, or most close version to translation with commentaries:

Your rerort is the best bible?

Who the fuck do you think your dealing with sunday school? Dude please I AM

You're what?

What I said, is that instead of asking missionaries about what Torah says,
you might as well just look into a valid translation with commentaries.

Please, the thread is about Judaism.

This is not how it works - it doesn't matter what You, me or the above thought.
There're valid commentaries and the rest is clueless mambo jumbo.
If You don't want commentaries what's left is literal reading.
And that too is meaningless if You can't read Hebrew.

Therefore - what I've previously suggested.

Listen if You want to understand what Torah says,
the only chance is by asking those to whom and in who's language it was given.

Want a broken phone, might as well ask a French what the two Chinese are conversing.

Actually You don't need vast vocabulary to understand Torah Hebrew.
Rabbi Tovia Singer mentions in one of his responses the actual number of words.

But what You will find is how much saturated and interconnected with others the words are.

You see the thread is not about what you may think about Judaism or Torah,
rather FACTS.
The facts are Genesis tells us that.

1. God created existence
2. Everything he created is good
3. What he created was done in steps
4. Man is a product of that creation
5. Man is unlike any other creature in creation
6. Man is made in God’s image in that he is a being which knows and creates
7. Man was told to go forth and be fruitful
8. Man was told to do as the original creator; to create for 6 days and then rest
9. Man knows right from wrong
10. Rather than abandoning the concept of right and wrong when man does wrong, he rationalizes he didn’t do wrong
11. Successful behaviors naturally lead to success
12. Failed behaviors naturally lead to failure
13. Pass it down to the next generation
You can assume stuff - but without basis in Torah, they're just words of a mortal at the least,
and certainly do not suffice the discussion framework at hand as - "FACTS of Judaism".
I’m not assuming anything. It’s all in black and white.

The fact that you can’t summarize what genesis tells us tells me you don’t understand it at all.
That's just repeating what you've already claimed before ad nauseam ,
without providing actual reference, and totally neglecting my remarks pointing to the inconsistency with text.

If you can't admit, so be it, but either respectfully leave - or be so kind to follow the topic.

Again this thread is not about what you may or may not personally understand -
rather the original perspective of Judaism on these issues.
How many times do I have to tell you the reference is Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 of Genesis?

Which one of my points can’t you find the reference to?

Are you arguing that Genesis doesn’t tell us that God created everything?

Are you arguing that everything God created wasn’t good?

Are you arguing that Genesis doesn’t tell us that man is a product of that creation?

Are you arguing that Genesis doesn’t tell us that creation was created in steps?

Are you arguing that Genesis doesn't tell us that man is different than God’s other creatures?

Are you arguing that man wasn’t told to go forth and be fruitful?

What exactly are you arguing?
Either reconcile the contradictions in your claims quoting the text.,
or have the integrity to admit those are just baseless opinions - if can neither stop trolling.
There are no contradictions. I will tell you the same thing I just told mindful, summarize what you think Genesis tells us and then we can reconcile the differences. Because it makes no sense at all for me to guess what I am supposed to be reconciling it to.
You don't understand how this works, neither your nor my summery can be a reference,
it can only come from the original text - which is why you can't back up your mambo jumbo.

The commandment to rest on Shabbat is not in Genesis.
You haven’t summarized the key messages. And I am not using them as a reference. The reference is Genesis.

Yes, the reference to rest is not in Genesis but the example is set by the Original Worker himself; create for 6 days and then rest. The command to rest was given to us because creating is supposed to be so much fun that we have to be told to take a rest from it.

But putting that aside, you have lost the original meaning of the account of Creation. You have elevated created things above the Creator and fail to give him credit for his creation which glorifies him.

Is there a particular reason you are so fixated on the topic of Judaism?
It is full of mysticism trying to find esoteric meaning to the events.

Their interpretation comes when they mix the value of words letter by letter by the definition of the the letter itself and also their assigned numerical value. They believe in "secret codes" when the narration itself is simple and without enigmas.

They invent their enigmas and think the solving of their imaginations is wisdom.

The only time when such method of solving enigmas is validated is when prophecies are told. The rest of the narration is plain and simple.

I can state God made man for Him (God) reproduce himself, on the other hand Judaism will state God made man to make Israel the only reproduction of Himself.

Torah, Prophets and Scriptures show that God made a promise to Abraham, later retracts Himself when the descendants from line Isaac-Jacob are stiff necked, with bad mode restore the promise but retracts again when Jacob descendants still showing their brutality of becoming idolaters, and finally God gave up and gave no privileges to no one. The prophets spreading the "word of God" included all nations as to be called "sons of God".

The scenario is simple, and the whole process is just trial and error, but for some reason religious people call it "a plan".

Tell me, it was planed by God creating such a bunch of stiff necked dudes?

I don't think so.

And one of them is challenging me to decipher one of their invented "enigmas". Lol.
Look at the title of the thread - what does it say?
The thread is not about what You think about Judaism, rather FACTS.
You talk about things having no idea about, and certainly not from Jewish sources.

For example, you claim :"interpretation comes when they mix the value of words letter by letter by the definition of the the letter itself and also their assigned numerical value. "
This is called Gematria, not only is it NOT the main method, not a single law is based on it.

FACT is
- in Judaism there're 13 set principles of interpretation,
and none of them is what you've mentioned above.

The only reason you dance around my question is because you simply can't answer it.
I didn't ask for any "code" or "enigma" but a simple answer to simple question.
But you do't even have the integrity to admit you can't and don't know.
And after all that chest thumping - why is that?

Try once give a short simple answer.
You want an answer to your "enigmas".

The world has turned literally up side down, the cloud over their heads beraly let them recognize what is West, East, North, South, because the earth now is having an additional tilt and the Sun doesn't have a "fixed" arising and setting at same degree. And you, you suddenly say, "oh, surely here something with esoteric meaning has been writing, same when one of the sons of Jacob was named "traitor". Whoa!"

I have gave you a sure FACT over your mystical crap.

But now, lets go to FACTS.

Where the hell that "Judaism" comes from?

Where in Tanach such name "Judaism" is mentioned?

Who was the inventor of the name of that religious sect known as "Judaism"?

Lets start with FACTS.

But putting that aside, you have lost the original meaning of the account of Creation.
.
and some would think the sabbath is a reference as the type of completion made for their creation - the necessary example to reward the spirit by a similar completion admission to the Everlasting. seen, not read. the religion of antiquity.

you seem to miss the fact, dingbat, that your "summary"
is something like the CLASSIC COMIC version of the bible.

It literally popped into existence just as Genesis claims.
oh-----is that the analogy of the "Israeli physicist...."? I like
"shiva dreamed it...." even better as analogous to BIG BANG.
You made no point. As to the SEVENTH DAY------it is CULMINATION DAY in genesis------kinda like a stitching up the
incision at the close of surgery
