Yes, He is showing he is representing his real Constituents and supporters like BP, Exxon Mobile, and all of those. If that bill passes, it reduces Welfare in LA that the Oil Companies have grown to enjoy. Keeping in mind that LA is second to none in the US as a welfare state, his whole Schtick goes down the tubes and his speech shows who his real masters are.

In a short run, I don't support the whole bill either but in the long run it's going to happen whether we like it or not. There are parts that need to be pared down and not forced in the 10 year projection. But in 15 to 20, they are all going to have to happen. But step one is to stop the Corporate Welfare that is rampant right now. The Bill starts that.
