Very nice and informative essay. But on a more pedestrian note, there are two obstacles to peace that are not addressed: Israelis are, by and large, not Arabs, which is ethnically unacceptable, and second, Israel is, by definition and non-negotiable demand, a JEWISH State.

Peace will therefore not come in any of our lifetimes.
