Yes, but it's much easier to kick smokers than it is to kick people who drive cars. The public aren't stupid. They know that such a system, once in place, would not just affect "bankers".

Either way, the Labour government will die a well deserved death in summer.

They should also fine people for passing gas... They could make jeans/pants that have fart detectors and each time they fart $1 gets automatically withdrawn from the person's bank account and deposited directly to the Government account.

Sadly the Socialist loons destroyed Great Britain a long time ago. They have become nothing more than an Orwellian Police State at this point. The Government there monitors its Citizens' every move from cradle to grave. Great Britain is no longer a Free Nation. Lets hope we can keep our own Socialist loons from creating that same kind of Orwellian Police State here.
