Even Fox Is Turning On Cruz Over Repealing The ACA

The Republicans have no plan.

Plain and simple.

Neg rep for lying.
People have provided linkls to the GOP plan over and over. But it remains a convenient talking point to dismiss opposition.

Well then, you tell us,

what does the GOP plan do with the millions of Americans who now have Medicaid because of the Medicaid expansion in the ACA?

Google is your friend, asshole.

Co-host Brian Kilmeade reminded Cruz that Americans supported many provisions of the Affordable Care Act, like protecting people who have preexisting conditions.

“Are you going to go through elements of that to replace it, and where is the Cruz plan?” Kilmeade pressed.

The senator didn’t indicate that he had a specific plan to replace the president’s law, but instead repeated some conservative principles: allow insurance to be sold across state lines, health savings accounts, and decoupling health insurance from employment.

In other words, Cruz and republicans have no plan.

And Cruz’s ‘conservative principles’ won’t do anything to address the problem of Americans not having access to affordable healthcare.

Most of what Republicans have been touting.....Health savings plans, tort reform, interstate sales can be done in addition to Obamacare

They have yet to justify repeal outside of their hatred of all things Democrat

The GOP will eventually end up where the Democrats are - keep the ACA but do some fixes/improvements on it.

In order to repeal the ACA, the GOP would now have to throw 10 million or more Americans off their healthcare coverage.

That's a lot of 30 second Democratic campaign commercials showing people who'll lose their insurance if the Republican candidate gets his way...

That assumes that the people who have obamacare are happy with it. Since they are not democrats can only have 30 second spots reminding people how unhappy they are.

lol, so the GOP has a plan, but their plan does nothing with the millions of new Medicaid participants,

except of course to throw them off Medicaid with the repeal, which comes first.

Second question: what does the GOP PLAN do with the millions who now have insurance through the exchanges?

1. Do you really think the people who now have Medicaid when before they had nothing are unhappy?

2. Do you really think the people with pre-existing conditions who now have affordable coverage are unhappy?

3. Do you really think the people who had no affordable coverage who found a good deal on the exchange are unhappy?

4. Do you really think the people under 26 who stayed on their parents' plans instead of having to fend for themselves are unhappy?

5. Do you really think the people who are getting rebate checks from their insurance companies because those companies overcharged are unhappy?

...do you really think all those people are fewer in number than whatever unhappy, or pretend unhappy, people the rightwing propaganda machine will either find or invent?

So Fox didnt turn on anyone. The story concerns two talk show hosts, who presumably do not speak for the Fox network.
They didnt turn on Cruz, they pointed out some elements poll well, which has been known for a while.

I knew there couldn't be a thread by Black Asshole that wasn't a lie.

Do you have evidence that any talking head on Fox 'News' ever says anything not pre approved by Roger Ailes? See:

Richard Nixon and Roger Ailes 1970s plan to put the GOP on TV - WorldViews - The Washington Post

From the link:

Though the Jon Stewart vs. Fox News battle seems to have petered off the past few days, there’s no denying the contentious relationship Fox News has for most of the media and vice versa. It’s been that way since its inception in 1996 as the “fair and balanced” answer to what founder Roger Ailes saw as a skewed media landscape in 1996. It’s even been that way since the idea was just a kernel of an idea, being tossed around the Richard Nixon White House in the 1970s.

A memo entitled “A Plan for Putting the GOP on TV News,” buried in the the Nixon library details a plan between Ailes and the White House to bring pro-administration stories to television networks around the country. It reads: “Today television news is watched more often than people read newspapers, than people listen to the radio, than people read or gather any other form of communication. The reason: People are lazy. With television you just sit—watch—listen. The thinking is done for you.”

Your wits, when tripled, equal one half wit, not "wits". See my post above and admit your opinions are spoon fed to you by Roger Ailes.

Yeah sorry, but i just can't take a Communist/Democrat's word on anything pertaining to Fox News or Ted Cruz. Just not happening. A bit of a credibility question there. Try again.

Well, only the few who believe you were dropped on your head often as a child believe you aren't willfully ignorant.

Richard Nixon and Roger Ailes, a fine pair to draw from.

Bumped for cause [cause several idiotgrams blocked my evidence].

IOW you don't know WTF you're talking about.
This meme of "Republicans have no plan" comes up at least once a day here. And no matter how many links to the various GOP plans we supply, the same meme comes up the next day.
But even if we went back to what we did before Obamacare, that would still be a better plan than Obamacare. Over 95% of people were happy with their health care plan, with their doctor, and with their hospital. No one is happy with Obamacare. Least of all elected Democrats facing elections this year.

Just link to the one that was passed by the House REPUBLICAN majority!

Interesting. So anyone who tries to characterize MSNBC based on what is said by its show hosts, like Maddow, Matthews, Schultz, O'Donnell,

those people are full of shit? Those people are ignorant? Because those hosts do not speak for MSNBC?

Is that your postion? Are you sure you want to go with that?

That dishonest shit will go with whatever he thinks he can get away with on any given day.

His conservative principals do have an answer. His answer if you dont have healthcare or it isnt affordable is laid out in his Tough Titty Initiative.

If the Republicans had a plan, they would have submitted legislation which begins with a repeal of the ACA and then lays out reforms which would replace it.

Instead, they only submit bills which begin and end with a repeal of the ACA.

Ted Cruz certainly does not have a plan. Repeal ObamaCare...AND THEN WHAT, RAFAEL?

Here is a Republican bill to repeal the ACA: https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/112/hr6079/text

Notice it does not contain any text about what to replace it with.

See, bills which supercede old laws start by repealing the old law at the beginning of the text, and then go on to include the language which replaces the old law. Or they refer to what other bill replaces the one they are superceding.

The ObamaCare repeal bills passed by the Republicans are dead giveaways they have no plan.

All those "plans" which have been linked to by others which claim to be a plan are nothing more than patches. They are not full bore reforms. They are little Band-Aids placed here and there. They are ride-alongs. Not actual reforms.

For this reason, ObamaCare is here to stay. The Republican Party is complicit in this fact by going out of their way not to submit a superior plan. Their protests are theater for the rubes.

At least dump the Mandate. The whole thing sucks, but get what you can get. Hopefully, ditching the Mandate will be a possibility.

And Communists watching Fox News? Come on, who do they think they're kiddin? This one sounds like something that was spoon-fed to em from a Communist propaganda source. I'm not buying it. So i'm calling Bullshit on the OP and the thread. Have a good one. See ya.
