There is no evidence that the person he killed initiated their altercation or that Rittenhouse was attacked. He was only chased AFTER he killed the unarmed guy and made a phone call. It's difficult to tell what is going on, and at what point this video was shot, before the first shooting or immediately after? There is someone lying on the ground and someone who comes up and takes his shirt off and appears to be placing it on the person on the ground, while the kid appears to be pacing back and forth looking at them. Was the person on the ground the one he had just shot? On one of the videos taken after the start of the chase, one person can be heard asking what the person being chased had done and the reply was that he had shot someone.

It's difficult to tell what is going on, and at what point this video was shot, before the first shooting or immediately after? There is someone lying on the ground and someone who comes up and takes his shirt off and appears to be placing it on the person on the ground, while the kid appears to be pacing back and forth looking at them. Was the person on the ground the one he had just shot? On one of the videos taken after the start of the chase, one person can be heard asking what the person being chased had done and the reply was that he had shot someone.

The video of the guy taking off his shirt is Daily Caller Richard McGuiness. The guy he is helping is the one who later died. The kid turned and fired at the first person chasing a split second after someone discharged a handgun. The video you are referencing is when he is being chased second time....after the shooting. That is not the first time he is chased.

One report says he was separated from a group. Someone spotted him and the chase was on. No shootings yet.

I just don't think I'd be chasing a guy with AR-15 without a really really really really good reason. And I certainly would not be shooting a gun in the air. Whoever did that seems to have set the chain of events in motion.
