End of the War?

This time it seems a little more solid.

Fingers crossed. The global economy needs this ASAP.

The USA needed to leave the Middle East and NATO and focus on the home front, so that's good
Agreed. People believe that leaving NATO is sacreligious and inviting catastrophe. Yet China is still somewhat isolationist itself, and has done well and what country in the world would fk with them without a dire reason? So obviously t's not necessary to be part of a vast global military alliance in order to hold your own and deter other countries from messing with you. If China can do it, so can we. It's just a matter of choice, a choice that our globalist oligarchs have decided against.

Our MIC has been cannibalizing the American middle class for generations

They look at Iran as a “golden opportunity”

So strange.
Yet so familiar.
Trump claims the Iranians want a deal desperately, but doesn't know who wants that deal.
The Iranians claim, no such deal has even been discussed.
Ships that have moved through the "OPEN" Hormuz........4.

When I allow myself to get a little hopeful that this is ending, I'm thinking that things are worse in Iran than they're letting on. Obviously between them and us, neither side can be believed.

If things there are not too bad, they're going to want to inflict pain. The easiest way to do that is to keep the Strait closed and let Trump pretend he "won" like a complete goddamn idiot.

As I mentioned elsewhere, who needs nukes when you have Trump as an enemy?

"Iran is desperate to make a deal" says Trump, everyday since the first week of March.

Now Iran mocks him.

3 hours agoIranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf ridiculed the Trump administration after Washington halted naval efforts assisting ships through the Persian Gulf chokepoint.

Ghalibaf mocked the move on X, writing that “Operation Trust Me Bro failed” while sarcastically referring to “Operation Fauxios.” President Donald Trump claimed the pause followed requests from Pakistan and other nations and insisted negotiations with Tehran were progressing.

Even Iran knows bloviating Trump is a joke.

I wonder if the IRGC will get the memo?

They will be on board as soon as the regimes loses its ability to give them their free donuts and little boys to rape. All the Rainbow flags around the world will then fly at half mast in sorrow.

Iran, like Russia, Red China, and all their fellow gangster regimes, will never honor any deal; they never have before and they never will now or in the future. There is a reason FDR demanded total surrender from the same types of regimes in WW II, after all; it was the only way to secure real peace.

When we get a deal, we'll see how much better it is than the one that was already in place when the bombs started dropping and the l

As I surmise the situation as objectively as I can, Europe is already in sharp decline, while America’s mounting debt portends its own gradual erosion of power in the decades ahead.

In this context, China’s steadfast support for Iran, shielding it diplomatically, continuing to arm it, and enabling its path toward a nuclear weapon: appears to be a calculated strategic move which may result in an indication citable outcome. In short, Iran obtaining nukes with the help of China and to a lesser degree Russia may be inevitable. The long term consequences of America outsourcing its manufacturing industries. You and others created the monster and armed the Communists.

In the long run, this arming of Iran with nukes is a perilous game for Chinas government. The U.S, even in its close alliance with Japan, never advocated for Tokyo to acquire nuclear weapons, precisely because the proliferation of such arms increases existential risk for all nations, governments and humanity. Stability, not proliferation, has long been the wiser course.

That said, as I strive for honesty in my assessment, as I have stated before; China’s MSS has arguably been the most effective foreign intelligence service of the past quarter-century. In the realm of sustained, long-term objective covert campaigns, it may well rank among the most successful in modern history.

Their successes have been broad, both in improving their geopolitical position and weakening America and their allies be it Europe (many politicians there under the influence or direct control of China I suspect), Israel (forever forced to fight terror in the region funded by Chinas vassal state in Iran), Central/South America (coerced into trade relations with China, selling of national resources etc). Just the number of ports China has purchased around the globe should shock citizens.

Arming Iran with drones, funding proxy militias, and sowing instability across the Middle East to weaken Israel and other American partners is one matter, but actively enabling Iran to cross the nuclear threshold is quite another, one that risks backfiring on China itself. I suspect in time they may succeed, the long term impact on them may boomerang.

North Korea’s possession of nuclear weapons has already proven more liability than asset for its patrons; a nuclear Iran could ultimately prove even more destabilizing.

The battle between China and America is both more daunting and less certain an outcome. Russia was only able to influence Eastern Europe and had minimal U.S economic support, China influenced Western Europe and have enemy companies receiving direct cash from Wall Street, on your indexes!

Russia could only have dreamed to haave been in such a position during the Cold War.
