The Continuing Resolution needed to be passed by Congress to keep the Government open. Obama was ready to sign it

Republicans chose to use the Continuing Resolution process (normally a routine extention) to extort a defunding of Obamacare.

So then fast forward and what happens? Obama delays huge parts of the ACA because it's not ready for prime time and needs to be changed.

The truth of the matter is that if Barry had taken the deal offered to him by the GOP there never would have been a shut down, there would have been more time to get the web site roll out done correctly and he wouldn't have had to delay major parts of the legislation to keep the American people from finding out how badly it was going to affect their healthcare.

What's REALLY failed, Winger? All of the things that Republicans pointed out were wrong with ObamaCare have turned out to be the truth. Most of the promises that Obama, Pelosi and Reid made to the American people in regards to ObamaCare have turned out to be lies. The web site was a debacle and we just had to spend an ungodly amount of money to fix it...something that you'll never hear about from this main stream media. Waivers are being granted to unions because they want nothing to do with being IN ObamaCare even after supporting the Democrats in getting it passed. The young people who need to sign up for this in order for it to be viable are simply not doing so. The healthcare costs for Middle Class Americans are going up sharply belying the Democrat's promise that they would be going down by thousands a year if the ACA were passed. People were not able to keep their insurance if they liked it. People were not able to keep their doctors if they liked them. In short...just about everything about ObamaCare has failed.

Yet you declare that it is the Republicans that have "failed". Interesting take on reality, little buddy...
