That meme brought up 5 or 6 things, and you didn't mention what you were talking about so at first I wasn't sure, but I figured it out a couple seconds later.

As for what you're saying....even if that were true (I'm not saying it is or isn't right now) he is still promoting and popularizing transhumanism, which is a philosophy that is satanic in nature. Whether he realizes that or not.

But again I think this topic deserves a thread of its own. And I probably will post a thread on this topic, in a few days. I did a thread on transhumanism a couple months ago, here.

Sigh. There's a difference between healing a broken bone and putting a chip in someone's brain, which of course is going to be portrayed as a noble thing, to sell it to people. And yes, by definition it is transhumanism, which is about using technology to "overcome" human limitations. Which again, may sound like a good thing at first glance, but there's so much more to it than that, and when you dig deeper into it you'll see that the whole idea is based on a lie. Similar to how transgenderism is based on a lie.

There's nothing wrong with things like limb replacement or helping disabled people through technology. But you're looking at this in a very narrow, incomplete way. You're using very specific examples to try to dismiss what I'm saying about transhumanism, and Musk's promotion of it.

Obviously the ones who promote it are going to portray it as a good and noble thing. And I'm not even claiming that all transhumanists are evil people. In fact, as I said on that thread I linked to, I think many transhumanists are actually sincere and have good intentions, they just don't realize that their philosophy (when taken all the way to its conclusion) is rooted in a lie. They believe humans can and will "evolve" beyond our current limitations through technology, merging man with machine, and many of them believe that the human lifespan can be extended indefinitely. Some well-known transhumanists outright state that human immortality is achievable through science and technology. And there's a lot more to it than that, but like I said, I didn't want to get too into it on this thread.

There has been a lot of discussion on Elon Musk, as he is a man having quite an impact right now.

I think we should take a momen to consider TWO points that I think SHOULD have defined most people's opinion of him, BEFORE doge.


1. His moving electric cars into the mainstream. Yes the tech has been there, but lots of tech is "there" but never seems to be available for the masses. I personally don't care, but anyone that believes in "global warming" should give this guy massive street cred for moving this industry forward. Hell, if you take lefties at their stated word, they should be looking at him as "World saver" or some such... title.


2. Self driving cars. This is one I DO care about. I've seen older people, Hell, I HAVE an older relative right now, struggle(ing) to maintain independent living and losing the ability to drive is a major... event in a decline of quality of life for older people. IMO, Musk has shaved decades off the time it will take for this tech to be available to the average person and for that, I am PERSONALLY grateful, becasue of that effect that will have for untold millions of old people including eventually myself.



In a sane world, this should have bene ELON MUSK, the public persona.

At least FINALLY be honest and admit we should probably move from gas and coal to alternative energy sources that are more GREEN. If you personally don't care, don't try to give him credit for it. I have just seen too many elderly relatives struggle with independence after losing the ability to drive. AND I have seen too many people with alchole and drug problems who I know drive.
