I was just pointing out that Trump spoke against EVs a couple years ago, and he has a pattern of changing his views. For you to take what I said and knee-jerkingly assume that I'm a lefty just shows that you are yet another extremely binary-minded partisan hack...who immediately gets emotional when people are even remotely critical of your Dear Leader, as if he was God.

Was he fire bombing dealerships and vandalizing charging stations? No?

What’s weird is the people doing that today support spending billions in tax dollars for them and subsidizing them, the stuff Trump spoke out against

Well, if you like self-driving cars, you'll get what you want. Because that's one of the WEF / globalist goals. Not just self-driving cars, but autonomous transportation in general, including aircraft. As I talked about in this post.

i've seen too many elderly people have serious impacts on quality of life, when they have to lose their ability to drive. Self driving cars will be a huge boon to the elderly.

I also, worry about all the drunks and drug addicts.

Well, if you believe that, you don't get out much. On X and other sites there are tons of righties and liberty-minded people who aren't Trump supporters. If you don't venture out of USMB very often, you're limiting yourself to a very specific bubble.

And the reason I don't like Musk is because (as I was saying on another thread earlier) he holds a number of globalist / leftist positions that I disagree with. That's why it's so funny and ironic to me that you assumed that the reason I don't like him is because you thought I was a lefty... when it's the other way around.... He's the one who is too left for my taste, and I believe he's playing the role of a Republican. Why? For the purpose of getting the right on board with ideas that they otherwise would absolutely oppose, if those same ideas were presented by a Democrat.

Those whose bodies and minds have made them a burden to themselves and the State .

In most of the world it takes 4-5 children to support their elderly shuffling parents and look after themselves .
That repeats every generation until the world is crawling with shufflers .

I said nothing of government. I want self driving cars to be available for PURCHASE by elderly people who can then use them to get around, safely.
