Er..no, there's not, as I said we have a perennial deficit of qualified tech workers to fill open positions in the industry, even with H-1B visas (for example in 2024 there are 438,000 open positions in the tech sector).

The H-1B program requires that employers demonstrate that they cannot find a qualified worker from the domestic labor pool to fill the position before the H-1B is granted. H-1B's are not taking open positions from American Citizens, they are filling positions that employers cannot fill from the available domestic labor pool.

Not to mention employers are required by law to pay H-1B workers wages equivalent to domestic workers doing the same jobs.
