The first part is understanding what is climate and what is weather. Climate is the parameters of Earth that allow certain ranges of weather. We don't get Cat 10 canes now, but we would if Earth had no ice.

What are the parameters of climate that can change?

Ocean levels
Atmospheric thickness
Temperature
Humidity


What controls those?

The amount of ice on the planet. Period. Ocean level is 100% inversely correlated to Earth ice content (on land, not sea ice, which is pathetically small) - duh. Trapped in ice age glacier is compressed gas. When it snows 10 feet, you can compress...

What is an ICE AGE?

Most apparently still believe it is a terrifying horror movie event where Earth all at once freezes up. The data has never supported such a scenario. Since 2010, there has been a massive effort to re-write Earth climate history into a series of rapid "glaciations" and ice retreats, as if "Day After Tomorrow" movie is accurate... LOL!!! What was North American Ice Age before 2010 is now spun into a series of rapid "ice ages" where it took a mere 75k years for the "ice age" to start in Northern Canada and put 2.5 mile thick glaicers on Chicago. This is "Milankovich"...

Pluto has a thin, tenuous atmosphere that expands when it comes closer to the Sun and collapses as it moves farther away – similar to a comet. The main constituent is molecular nitrogen, though molecules of methane and carbon monoxide have also been detected.
When Pluto is close to the Sun, its surface ices sublimate (changing directly from solid to gas) and rise to temporarily form a thin atmosphere. Pluto's low gravity (about 6% of Earth's) causes the atmosphere to be much more extended in altitude than our planet's atmosphere...

Yeah I don't see it pulling many votes from the TRUMP/MAGA/Moderates. MAGA was about to kick Musk to the curb whith his "I'll F you in the face" H!B visas comments that made Vivek disappear.
Musk will draw the never-TRUMPers and lost to reality libertarians.

Musk will also have a problem pushing cuts while receiving substitutes.

People like Massie screaming about cuts will be challenged to start with cuts that benefit their constituents the most.

If they draw republicans who generally believe what they believe. Then they would have to coexsist with two right wing parties. In the end they would both need to come to the conclusion that they need each other (right wingers unite) and form an alliance. IF there is internal bickering then they are doomed to fail.

It took me a while -- years -- to come to the conclusion that that's simply what we are as a whole. Oddly enough, things became much more clear when I realized America just isn't what I thought it was.

The GQP appears to be concerned about this. Rightfully so, I guess, but Musk is just not stable enough to lead it. If he's nothing more than the purse, that's one thing, although it's sad how money controls our politics.

But he can't be the spearhead. What concerns me here is that he'll **** things up for other potential future parties by making a mess of this. We need serious new parties, not adrenaline-fueled zillionaire ego trips.
