What makes abortion so special vs every other thing that gets fed support?

Exactly. The women who are rich, will go to a jurisdiction where abortion is legal, and purchase a safe, legal abortion. Poor women, who are on social assistance, will have babies, which the taxpayer will then have to support.

The taxpayer would be further ahead to pay for the abortion. $950 versus food stamps, Section 8, and the cost of a public school education for 20 years. Not to mention the criminal justice system, since he's a poor, unwanted child. Unwanted children have a much higher likihood of ending up unemployed, in jail, and a drain on society.
