Kara Goucher trains 250 kilometers a week, but she is a PROFESSIONAL runner, lives on this. Let's not try to behave like professional runners, training without rest, because even they do not. They know very well that to rest one or even two days a week counts also as training, because it is in those days and in your hours of sleep that your body assimilates all the training that you have done and thus you really take advantage of it. So relax, sleep 6 to 8 hours a day, take naps of 30 minutes whenever possible and rest FULLY at least one day a week (and another active rest doing something other than running.
