The Republicans and their leader trump forgot what made them popular with their older, white racist voting base. In the run-up to the November 8 election, the GOP and trump made two glaring errors.

For trump, his mistake was to abandon his tried and true racist and hate-filled rhetoric and become a whining loser. He opted for constantly complaining to those attending his rallies how he was being victimized by the Democrats’ voter fraud and baseless witch-hunts. Members of the crowds in attendance at these rallies were seen beginning to walk out after only fifteen minutes of trump’s whining about the abuse he was suffering. By the end of his rant, over half the trump Nazis had already gone home.

Gone are the days when trump would tell his adoring fans how they had suffered at the hands of educated elitists, blacks, Hispanics, Asians, ambitious women, illegal aliens, foreigners, non-Christians, the LGBT community, liberals, progressives, etc. A speech citing their eternal victimization is what his cultists expected to hear, not the sob-story trump was now feeding them. Only the most devoted trump Nazis accept his weeping and wailing.

Surprisingly, trump has been expecting compassion from members of U.S. society totally incapable of such feelings. The conman trump should understand this wide-spread conservative character flaw, after all, during his 2016 presidential campaign and his entire presidency, it was this common characteristic of the right-wingers he thoroughly exploited.

When November 8th rolled around, the nearly half of the trump Nazis’ faith in their beloved leader had deteriorated to the point they would not support his handpicked candidates.

Then there are the congressional Republicans running for reelection and the wannabees running for their chance to get rich serving the billionaires and Big Business. Their boasts to cut Social Security and Medicare was not received as the joyous news the Republicans expected of their elderly rank-and-file.

Most of the suckers that consistently vote against their own financial interests and elect Republicans feared doing so on November 8, 2022, would likely push them into living in homeless camps. Most baby boomers are staunch Republicans, but the majority of them cannot afford a home to live in without their Social Security income. The congressional Republicans, intent on serving their major political contributors’ needs, forgot this fact about their boomer base.

The Republicans and trump, together, made only these two incredible flubs. The congressional Republicans’ promise to cut Social Security coupled with trump’s endless sniveling kept too many boomers home November 8th.
