Egg Shortages and Prices Sky Rocket Just Before Thanksgiving

My daughter and son and their families are coming in tomorrow and my grandson is bringing a friend and his grandma my ex mother in law so with that bunch we will go through three dozen eggs easy over the weekend....
I am picking up my turkey today a big 20 pounder... and 3 pounds of bacon.... two bags of russets and two pumpkin pies...
and whatever snacks that looks good... last year my whole town ran out of ruffles and I not going to wait till Wednesday to get them this year...

I got the idea from this scene from Rocky.

Turns out raw eggs aren't the breakfast of champions. I grossed out immediately after swallowing some.

You see kids? This is why movies should come with the warning label of don't try this at home. My guess is that you probably became good friends with the toilet afterwards.

Hey, let go of my Egg-o!"

Milk here is about $3.25 (was $2.25 before Inflation). Eggs is now $2.25/dozen (was $0.99).

Just those two is a $5 buck Breakfast! (Minus the toasts and hashbrowns....and OJ!

I somehow managed to keep them down though I felt like puking for half an hour. After an hour, I went to sleep because it was late at night.

I remember when it didn't cost three dollars for both a dozen eggs and a gallon of milk. That was around 2006.

Wow, we've had a couple spikes this fall. Two weeks in Sept. when we were paying about $5/dozen and the last couple weeks when they spiked to $4. I expect to see them come back down this week. Normal seems to be about $2.25 post Biden taking office.

I know where eggs are $0,7 for ten. Low taxes, cheap energy, almost no regulations and so on.

I live near Saginaw. I don't know about the rest of the state (of Michigan). I am certain they are similar throughout.
