Egg Shortages and Prices Sky Rocket Just Before Thanksgiving

There is no shortage.

Yes there is. Didn't you watch the video in my OP?
Who knows how long the bird flu will keep the price of eggs up

If it's really the Bird Flu that is.

Who is that? He definitely sounds intimidated whoever he is.

/---/ Deviled eggs have been a holiday tradition for the last century. Yes I'm 73, and my Grandmother made them when I was a kid. She learned from her mother.

Yeah I guess you're right. I don't eat them lol so I guess that I just forgot.

Pumpkin pie uses eggs

Good point.

Bread? Dinner rolls? There are no eggs in either.

Really? Well it's been a while since we made bread from scratch so I just thought that they were in there along with the milk and flour and whatever.

It’s all Biden’s fault.

Debatable because I'm not sure how real the Bird Flu is since it does seem like it's been going on an awfully long time but at least you didn't say that it's all Trump's fault.

They're floundering like a fish on the sand

i assumed the same at one point. Seems like there would be eggs. There most likely is a recipe that uses eggs but it would not be common

Although I don't think that most of us use eggs for the holiday itself. Unless your bread/rolls are homemade that is.

This is why the USDA leadership pick was so awful.

Small farms and small processes keep prices down. The USDA had been deliberately favoring the corporate large farms and processors instead of small independent ones. Now we have no eggs. Instead of owners we got employees. Guess what happens when this happens?

The USDA did nothing under Biden, to prevent the Avian Flu?

Maybe the USDA has no business in the green energy business, they should only deal with food

The bird flu has nothing to do with politics.

I know. I didn't say that it did.

We don't say yams here in the south. We call them sweet potatoes.

And here's me looking like a fool because I thought that they were the same thing. 😆

Other food shortages that contains eggs?

Yet the price for a full turkey dinner for 10 people is down 10% and gas dropped 13% since April.
Think where gas prices would be in WA if you morons on the west side had repealed the "carbon tax" LOL Average price in WA, $3.62, average price across the border in ID, $2.93. No one ever claimed democrats were smart.
