My concern is the disposal of the spent fuel. Wouldn't that pose a potential hazard?

I have written ,published, and copyrighted a book that advocates an approach to energy consumption that transcends a type of fuel or type of device that uses fuel or energy. My concept is based on common sense and is not patentable as it is public knowledge. I haven't sold many books because the ideas are not racy or sexy and would seek to reduce the concentration of power and wealth in a given industrial sector.

I don't mean to spam, but the book is for sale on various online bookstores and I would be happy to give its name if that is permissible. I don't want to violate forum rules so I would need permission to give its name before doing so.

btw, I support some of the proposals for drilling in ANWR. I just do it with honesty and eyes open.

As much as I would like to see us move away from petroleum based energy I am afraid we are stuck with it for a long time. Our entire economic system has been designed to use these fuels, and to convert to other fuels or energy sources would mean a dramatac and costly change. I do think we should at least do pilot projects to look at the feasiblity of using alternate energy sources.

This 'one-size-fits-all' attitude is getting in our way and I think it will take a change of mindset before we can make good progress on alternate energy sources and usage.
