Downtown Seattle WASH is collapsing

Many of the criminals are still sitting on benches and in AG offices, along with millions of criminals he let into the country. And, he hasn't been prosecuted for talking bribes from foreign govts.

West Virginia has large brown populations?

Texas does too but beats shit out of those CSA states. Florida does too.

And they both recieve a lot of Federal aid to feed them, the only reason they can afford to work so cheap and remain in the U.S.

The business climate and security for those businesses in Seattle is a valid point, but the democrats are falling all over themselves attempting to get a 'millionaire's INCOME tax' bill passed. Many wealthy folks are abandoning WA because they are being unfairly and unconstitutionally targeted. Income tax is unconstitutional in WA

The Washington State Constitution prohibits the collection of a personal income tax, as it defines income as property and mandates that all taxes must be uniform and not exceed a certain limit. This has been upheld by the state Supreme Court in various rulings over the years.

That isn't stopping the democrats. They only scream "unconstitutional" as a bogus excuse to stop anything that hurts the democrat party agenda.

Are you hoping to imply Lousianna and Alabama and Arkansas don't? West Virginia has over 10% minority population. want to bet that of the 15% of the population who receive SNAP bennies, they make up a big chunk of that? And why leave out Washington DC?

The far-left blue city of Seattle is bleeding businesses as companies flee to locations that don’t charge crazy levels of taxes.

Drive around the Pier,
Drive around West Seattle and Alki Beach.

Let me know when these fail.
Until then, STFU fatso.

The Mayor of Seattle didn't even have a job and lived with her parents when she got elected.
Do some actual research.

🏆 2025 mayoral win

  • Entered the race in early 2025
  • Finished 1st in the primary (50.9%)
  • Won the general election by less than 1%—one of the closest races in Seattle history
Her support came heavily from:

  • Renters
  • Transit users
  • Labor and progressive groups

🧠 Political identity & priorities

  • Often described as a progressive or democratic socialist
  • Key issues she campaigns on:
    • Housing affordability & homelessness
    • Cost of living
    • Public transit expansion
    • Worker protections
She has also argued for:

  • Using non-police responders for some crisis calls
  • Expanding social services rather than relying on enforcement

🏙️ Early actions as mayor (2026)

  • Took office January 2026
  • Early messaging focuses on:
    • Tackling affordability
    • Expanding housing
    • Protecting immigrant communities
    • Responding to federal policy pressures

🧩 Big picture

Katie Wilson represents a different type of mayor:

  • Grassroots organizer → mayor
  • Less traditional government experience
  • Strong focus on economic inequality and housing

Some opposition say she never had a job and lived with her parents before being elected. What is the truth?

Short answer: that claim is exaggerated and misleading, but it’s not coming out of nowhere either. Here’s the reality, based on credible reporting.

🧾 Claim: “She never had a job”

❌ False

  • Katie Wilson has worked for years as a community organizer and nonprofit leader.
  • She co-founded and led the Transit Riders Union (since 2011), directing campaigns on wages, transit, and housing.
  • Her career has largely been in activism/nonprofit work, not traditional salaried corporate or government jobs.
👉 Critics sometimes frame this as “not a real job,” but it is paid and full-time work, just in the nonprofit/advocacy sector.

I grew up and live across the bay from Seattle. I know more about it than you could ever know.

You liberals turned a great city into a shit hole.

I used to go to Seattle regularly to the downtown restaurants and bars. Half of which are now gone.

I always felt safe, now when I go to Seattle I ensure that I am armed. I don’t go there unless there is some special event I want to attend. I quit going to sporting events because of the shit hole liberalism turned it in to.

The waterfront is the best part of the city. West Seattle is afflicted with gang violence. Same with the Alki area.

Liberals have let parks and areas of the city become overrun with homelessness and drugs. Derelict Rv’s and such.

So sorry for you.

I went to the NFC Championship.
Parked for Free on Airport Way.
Walked 15 minutes to Lumen Field.
No Homeless in site, no danger.

The game was Fantastic, but ONLY for a real fan. Not YOU.

The area around Lumen was 100% safe.

After the game, we walked the Northern route back to Airpot Way, 20 Minutes.

Gosh, there was NEVER a single threat.

Sorry you missed it.
