Trump did not slap HD with a tarriff on their products. He gave them a huge tax cut, jackass.
Without the tax cut HD would have been fucked.
Trump put our tariffs into place. Other countries decided to impose tariffs on products made here in America. And, although you say that without a tax cut, HD would have been screwed. But, how is that tax cut going to offset the 2,200 dollars price increase on EACH motorcycle sold overseas? Quick answer, it's not.
That $2200 tariff, which likely will be quickly repealed, had nothing to do with Trump. It was Europe protecting it's domestic motorcycle industry. In other words, HD's decision has nothing to do with Trump's tariff on steel. Low IQ people have trouble comprehending those facts.
Trumps policies have done nothing but help HD.
Do you even understand how things work? Trump imposed tariffs on products from other countries. Those other countries responded with tariffs of their own. If Trump hadn't put the tariffs in place here, the EU wouldn't have responded with tariffs of their own. Cause and effect.
As far as the tariff being repealed soon? Who's gonna do it? Trump can't, because he's not in charge of the countries that have imposed the tariffs on us.
