I used the word weaklings only because if I used the word I really want to use, I would probably get kicked off this forum.

I just don't understand how a president who thinks he is a genius, and a Republican party that seems to agree with him. can be so ignorant when it comes to something that affects Americans every day, and not in a good way.

A Republican with a backbone, willing to stand up to Trump, apparently does not exist in the Republican party. Because if he or she did, they would march into the oval office and say "Mr. President Sir, the tariffs you impose are not paid by the countries you Levy them on, they are actually paid by the importers of the goods and then passed on as cost to American businesses and consumers. Of course Trump would explode, kick the offender out of the oval office and then spend half the night tweeting about what a sorry RINO the person is.

But, it would be the right thing to do, and with enough publicity, could be beneficial in the long run!

Why would we stand up against him?

He’s doing exactly what we elected him to do when it comes to tariffs and just about every other issue.

Can you tell us why it’s been okay for the EU to use tariffs against the US for decades but not okay for the US to impose tariffs on the EU?

I agree, but they are cowards, many even grumble about him publicly yet always step into line when there's a vote on anything.

He's going to go down bigly and he'll take the republican party with him, just a matter of time.
