Donald begs: Not so fast! Asks SCOTUS to help him drag things out. Has he lost faith in his friendly appointments?

"dragging things out (as distinct from dating rudy in drag) is the defense strategy. another year and he can pardon himself and any lawyer who waives his legal fees.
Trump is probably just tired of winning.

Op is a whore. She’s taken more balls to the chin than Johnny Bench! Rimshot!
Guess who posed bareass in a men's skinmag & got paid for it, asswipe?

Doesn't really make much sense to me. If he really believes in his immunity claim then why would he be afraid of SCOTUS getting to that conclusion sooner rather than later?

Trump’s attorneys in a new filing objected to a request by Department of Justice special counsel Jack Smith that the Supreme Court fast track that question, accusing the prosecutor of doing so to harm Trump politically and to help President Joe Biden’s reelection chances.

The former president instead wants the federal appeals court in Washington, D.C., to hear his appeal of a trial court judge’s ruling that he does not have immunity.

Trump urges Supreme Court to let lower court hear immunity appeal first

In one case he is begging them to take their time and in another one he wants an instant answer.

Trump has no viable legal defenses of his violations of law.

After his frantic attempts to hide evidence and gag witnesses failed miserably, a plethora of substantive evidence and the sworn testimony of dozens of Republicans resulted in grand juries recommending 91 felony counts against him.

He was consigned to hysterically flailing his whiny victim card, lying, and raving about public servants and their families, thereby wee-weeing up his worshipers, but failing to deal with the charges.

His only recourse then became "Delay, delay, delay!" in the hope that he will either win the 2024 election or succeed this time in thwarting the will of the People, He would then castrate the American justice system, and indulge in his petty vendettas.

Justice deferred is justice denied, and Trump is hellbent on denying justice.

1. Trump's case is headed to the USSC, so his defense is viable or it wouldn't be headed there.

2. Those 91 felony counts by Banana Republic DAs and rigged grand juries are going no where after the appeals

3. If Trump runs in 2024 and wins, that is the will of the American people. Petty vendettas against the deep state and Banana Republic DAs are totally justified.

4. Justice will happen. I see you subscribe to the Joy Bahar system of justice. She said that the "judges need to stop Trump from running or else he'll win."

Trump worshippers fervently believe that their venerated Lardass is above the law, of course, but our justice system is driven by the law, credible evidence, and sworn testimony, not a cult's doctrine.

I fully realize that respected conservative constitutional scholar, J. Michael Luttig, has championed the 14th Amendment right to keep the convicted sexual abuser off the ballot after he incited his goons to attack outnumbered police on January 6, 2021, but I think every registered voter in the country should have the right to cast a ballot against Trump in 2024.

Kind of sounds like what is happening with Hunter Biden, doesn't it?

Let's just leave it at that. Agreed.
If you need to indulge the Cry Baby Loser in his tantrums against the U.S. Constitution, the certified election results of fifty states, our system of justice, and the public servants who are dedicates to following it (and their families), I'm glad that you can respect the right of Americans to vote against him in 2024, a right that he attempted to deny to them in 2020 via inciting his goons to attack Congress, his fake elector schemes, his efforts to intimidate Republican governors, secretaries of state, and others into falsifying the votes of their citizens.

His moral weakness and impotence in being able to handle his loss has destroyed a proud American tradition of peaceful transfers of power, but the nation will be ready if he tries it again.

.... Trump is charged in federal court in D.C. with conspiring to defraud the United States, conspiring to obstruct an official proceeding, obstructing a congressional proceeding and conspiracy against rights — in this case “the right to vote, and to have one’s vote counted.” Each charge relates to Trump’s actions in the aftermath of his November 2020 loss to Joe Biden, including the riot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, which disrupted the counting of the electoral votes.
It is one of four criminal cases Trump is facing. He was indicted in federal court in Florida, accused of mishandling classified documents after leaving office and obstructing government efforts to retrieve the material; in state court in Georgia over efforts to block Biden’s victory there; and in state court in New York, related to falsifying business records in connection to a hush money payment in the 2016 election.
