This idea that a businessman can create jobs without demand for his product or service is like a belief in creationism. It is just weird.

This is what Hillary said. “Don’t let anybody tell you it’s corporations and businesses create jobs,” Read it slowly and tell me if the word demand is there.

Is that her entire statement? Are you really making an effort?

I am the person in this thread who has argued that demand is required for jobs to be created. This has been met with opposition. It's weird.

It says to "provide for the common defense" in the Constitution and I personally assigned the priority number one. Without defending the Republic from enemies, both foreign and domestic, there would be no need for the rest of the Constitution since the Republic would no longer exist.

Name all of the "enemies, both foreign and domestic" that are a current existential threat to the nation and while you are at it list the damage they could inflict and which agencies are tasked with preventing that damage.

Walmart can and should pay their help better. Tax payers are now footing the bill, feeding their employees, since Walmart won't. This is why we need to raise the minimum wage, at least to $10 an hour.

$10 an hour is a reasonable goal if we have to have a Federal minimum wage. I think the states will do a better job setting the minimum wage than the Feds can. Do you really think there is anyone in New York City that works for the minimum wage?
