It’s about time the DOJ stepped in to deal with democrat authoritarians who selectively decide to remove individual rights.

The Department of Justice is warning Virginia officials of potential legal action after Gov. Abigail Spanberger signed sweeping gun-control legislation, including a ban on certain semiautomatic firearms.

The measure, SB 749/HB 217, passed the Democrat-controlled General Assembly and targets what the law defines as "assault firearms," including many semiautomatic rifles and pistols with magazines holding more than 15 rounds.

Hopefully some 2A friendly judges will be lined up before July 1. Nothing can really happen before the laws go into effect as no harm can be proven till after that date.....You know, standing and all.

It will be a hard slog as it always is.

Thing is Virginia gun owners have said, not so quietly, that they won't comply.
