It’s not a judge, unfortunately. They forum shopped for a magistrate, for Pete’s sake. A magistrate for a warrant on the home of a former president, who is the current president’s main political rival.

Not saying that should never happen, if a warrant is legitimately required, so be it. But, they should have wanted to be scrupulously transparent and non-biased, not looked for a non-judge with a history of recusal from other Trump cases.

The FBI would need clean hands to do something like this, especially since they are known as a fact to have harbored some of the dirtiest agents and lawyers on their anti-Trump investigation teams.
