Does the USA need more socialism or less socialism?

I do much, much more than that

I vote for Democratic candidates who pass effective legislation to help poor and working class obtain healthcare, housing, education, job training, food assistance
Lefties don't give sacrificially of themselves or their wealth to help the poor. What they do is elect politicians who will take money from workers in order to give free stuff to the poor.

What Democrats do is elect representatives who are concerned about people struggling in our society and do something about it.
We realize the purpose of society is to help those who need help

Republicans slash taxes on the rich

It never seems to be enough though. Take a notice. We have institutionalized poverty and dumb down citizens with our education system. The endless altercations, destroying of property, stealing from businesses, riots in public places, endless fights in public places and so much more is proof enough. It does not matter how much time passes. It is the same. When you add state, local, federal, monopolies, authorities, extra taxes, costs on insurances and taxes at each level of production on products, etc. etc. Each lower-class citizen who works has got to be paying over 50% total in taxes and fees.

GOP has turned War on Poverty into a War on the Poor

The profiteers have completely let their guard down.
They've deceived naive elves with heart-rending howls about "freedoms," and meanwhile, they're building technotronic fascism at a rapid pace.

Republicans slash taxes on the rich
Liars keep claiming republicans slash taxes on the rich in spite of the fact that republicans lower taxes on the middle class far more often than do democrats and democrats never raise taxes on the rich more than republicans do.

Democrats keep repeating the lie in spite of all the times it has been totally debunked.

Origin of the “Repeat a Lie Often Enough” Quote

The aphorism “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it” is not a verifiable quote from Joseph Goebbels or Vladimir Lenin, and its exact wording does not appear in their known writings factually.co+1. Instead, it is a later paraphrase of the “big lie” concept first documented in Adolf Hitler’s 1925 book Mein Kampf, where he accused his enemies of using a “colossal falsehood” that people would accept because it seemed too audacious to be fabricated factually.co+1.

Historical roots

  • Hitler’s “big lie”: In Mein Kampf, Hitler described how a massive falsehood, repeated relentlessly, can overwhelm public skepticism. This was part of his antisemitic rhetoric and not presented as a general propaganda principle factually.co+1.

GOP has turned War on Poverty into a War on the Poor
Democrat candidates promise their gullible followers they will give them free stuff if elected and then blame the republicans for stopping them from delivering free stuff the economy could never have provided in the first place.

Socialism is where the Government controls the means of production

Show where that is happening
First the socialists have to get in power by promising free stuff. Once in power the free stuff never arrives and the socialists immediately nationalize anything that makes money. Then they take all the money coming in to build palaces and a massive protection system to make sure they are impossible to get rid of.

Actually, they help people who need help

Capitalists help the wealthy, even though they don’t need help

It looks like the Clintons helped themselves to billions of dollars that were to go to the poor and needy, and in Haiti, for example.

Tell that to all the illegal immigrants you love so much who came to America to escape socialism. There are a lot of Cubans and Venezuelans here, why did they leave their socialist paradises where the leadership was helping them so much?
