I celebrate ALL who were behind the Civil Rights movement - Blacks, Whites, and any other race or creed that fought to end slavery and fight for civil rights. What a terrible legacy of the Democrat party given that they were the party that fought to preserve slavery and fought to deny civil rights 100 years after slavery ended. They ought to rename the Party in the same way they always call for buildings, schools, and highways to be renamed of those who supported slavery and opposed civil rights.
