Does character matter to evangelicals any more?

An immediate solution would be for them to quit being hypocrites.
Good, then we agree, all American Evangelicals should publicly agree that they will only vote for candidates of strong moral character that are members in good standing of an Evangelical Church. That should end the vapors from the usual suspects.

First commandment
I am thy Lord, thy God, you shall have no God before me
Tells children what God they should worship.
Establishes a religion
So you're saying that if we put up the 10 Commandments we'd all be Jews, since Yahweh gave them to Moses?
Other religions would all disagree with that dumbass statement.

No, I am saying that the Constitution says govt shall not mandate religion
Posting the rules of your favored religion does that

Down that road lies, "Don't put up a sign saying, 'Don't kill, don't steal, don't lie', because that's in the Bible".

Everyone knows those rules

It is the Commandments requiring you follow a certain religion that cause a problem

That's exactly what the op wants, basically for them not to vote. Don't buy into their bullshit.

The op is a degenerate pig using child pornography as his avatar, throwing a tantrum because a group of people won't vote the way he wants them too. He then resorts to calling them names using his own set of degenerate rules, along with lies, and expects everyone else should play by those same rules.

Quite the amusing thread, but trolls are gonna troll I guess.

When it's codified into law, you may have a point, but we all know that's never going to happen.
What was codified was requiring you post the 10 commandments

Congress shall pass no laws….

The far majority of people who are Christians live within a framework that they follow commandments within their own lives. And that helps to keep the costs down for civilization to continue. And for you to promote different ways of living. In the end the costs will dictate our demise and decline. And then the inevitable dictatorship. The real dictatorship.

You make no sense, congress hasn't passed any laws forcing you to worship or believe anything, and they never will.

And they should learn that framework in their own churches not force it on others

You really don’t understand how that Constitution thing works.
When your state signed up to join the United States, you accepted the terms of the Constitution

Lies and bullshit. No one is being forced to worship or believe anything, fact.
