Does Anybody Still Like The Disney Parks?

Another thing I found amusing...they have disney dollars that trade one for one with US dollars. 1's 5's 10's 20's...

One night I went to a bar for a few cocktails & paid with disney dollars...they didn't bat an eyelash! They were happy to accept them :)

Yeah, and I'm still a whole lot more mature than you are. :p

Are talking about the new movie or the old one?

Like most people in the world I have never been to any Disney amusement park and have no plans on ever going to one.

The new movie. It was great and no woke stuff either.

Thank you! I'm glad to see another person on here who judges the individual Disney movies instead of Disney in general and yes it was awesome. I think because I've never seen videos about stuff in Alaska I'll have that be the virtual trip today, but I'm going out geocaching in a little bit so after I get home then I'll post the thread for it,.. but because of people like you who still enjoy some Disney stuff... I might go ahead and do either Disneyland or Walt Disney World for virtual Christmas vacation. ;)

Is it bad that this is one of my favorite songs? 😎

Disney is freaking expensive. It is definitely for kids although adults can have a good time in different environs. Kids are malleable to many ways of having fun. You can take them on a cruise for a lot less. Just driving or flying to resort and spend some days at an oceanfront motel would be cheaper. There are other theme parks in our nation with dramatic savings. Sometimes I do not have patience. Waiting in long lines is horrible.

No virtual vacation thread yet, as I just decided to post a regular thread about Alaska instead. :)

Change of plans, I'm starting a virtual trip to Disneyland later on. :D

I went to Disney World in 1988... I thought it was overpriced, old and in need of updating and a tourist trap on steroids.

Like most people in the world I have never been to any Disney amusement park and have no plans on ever going to one.
Most people? In the Entire World? Sure.

If I surveyed 1,000 people walking out of a H-E-B store in any city TX, and asked them, have you ever been to Disney Land or Disney World?

What do you think the results would be?

Now, I acknowledge that people in the WORLD, like those NOT living in NA, then YES, those people probably haven't been to Disney.

I said most people in the world not most people in TX I don't even think most people in the US have been to a Disney park

Or let alone more than once like I did when I was a kid. I just got lucky of course.

Enough to where if you didn't have to give them money you would still enjoy yourself? I'm just curious because tomorrow is our virtual vacation day 1 and I was debating between that and Texas or Alaska.
I'm not sure what the money means but, for pre-teen kids at least, it is a magical place.

We live about an hour away from Disney World. No way would we ever go. Not even to take our grandkids.

Attendance is really down for two main reasons. First is the antiwoke boycott of Disney and the second is the cost is really high nowadays. The cost is getting beyond the affordability of many middle class families.

Then you have Potatohead's massive inflation and cost of fuel. That puts a bummer on any family vacation.

Thought you hated those groomers.

She says she does and said she would boycott them. Then said she loved the Disney haunted mansion movie she went to see.

So one moment she hates them, then the next she loves them.
