My opinion is, if God created the Earth and mankind, he's probably not far from coming back and erasing his mistake, so he can try again.

I don't think all Christians believe in predestination, do they? I thought it originated with Calvin.

No they don't, very few that I knew of. Most believe God works in our daily lives. If it was already mapped out he would just be kicking back. My argument was God does know, but you don't know what he knows.
Of course that too is/was a belief but predestination isn't orthodox Christianity.

Many people who do not understand God , also do not understand that there is a spiritual world right in front of us, a spiritual tug of war 24/7.
Many just see 1 dimensional, and don't feel what is going on. I know I didn't for along time.
I have been through a lot in my life, many deaths. I have also had to face my own death 2x. It sorta puts things into perspective of how fragile humans really are. How fragile life is, and that love is the only thing we take with us when we die.
Many people do not understand that it is not about how we act, or how we treat others ( important to do but this is not the way we get to heaven) but asking God into our hearts. Jesus will change us, not us change us because we will never be good enough so His death was to make us clean in the site of God. This is why the thieves on the cross with Jesus got into heaven, not because they were good.
This doesn't give us the permission to do what ever we want. ( I swear too much..lol)
The only way that I can explain it is to tell someone ( even people who are atheists) to just ask God to show you personally that He is real.
When you go to bed tonight pray to God to reveal the truth to you, ask Him to forgive your sins, and I promise He will..In His time not ours.
It is not a big Bang and you get it, it is a different journey for each of us.
One important thing a pastor once said is Never ever put anyone but God up on a pedestal, not other pastors, not yourself..because we are human and will let you down always..
This is what brings so many down, they watch the human and not God, when the human goes down so does their relationship with God.
It is not about religion either, and man made stupid rules. The Holy Spirit comes into you after you invite God in and in time you will feel the spirit guiding you in what is right and wrong.
This movie is old but really revealed so much to me 30 years ago..

Well, I'd like to believe in God, I've tried, but I just don't/can't. I guess i fluctuate between agnosticism and atheism.

I believe in God and I believe in Jesus Christ. I have felt His love for me many, many times and He has put people in my path to help and He has put people in my path to help me. I have had some pretty desperate situations in my life when I went to Him in prayer and He always answers. I feel sad for people that don't have a spiritual side because I believe it isolates you from people that could mentor you or people that need your help or could learn from you. Life is but a vapor but eternity is forever. It is a scientific fact that your weight drops anywhere from 21 to 25 grams when one takes their last breath. The global elites definitely believe in the spirit world but it's not Jesus that they believe in.

You don't just "become" anything. Idiotic argument. I think Buddhist ways make sense by mans logic, very peaceful and tranquil, but I don't believe it's for me. Maybe because I believe in hostility and contention <kidding).....
