Not quite! Her issue was, she wanted the decision on abortion to be more about equal rights for women, than the Roe v wade case was.....

Neither men nor women can get an abortion where it's been outlawed. The legality of an abortion has always been equal.

Far below average plagiarizing law student Joe Biden was never qualified to say anything about constitutional issues. Any attorney general, solicitor general, white house counsel, etc. of the past decade could speak with at least slightly more credibility, or less senility, about that.

If it is popular enough to pass, then Congress or a national convention can propose it again and states can ratify it again. If that doesn't happen, then it still doesn't have the national consensus needed for a constitutional amendment.

Mostly I see this as a diversion. Somebody thought of something to tell Joe to take attention away from Trump.

Do you really want to start quantifying who is more "worthy" of their rights than others?

we do that all the time, and this is what you guys want to do when you say Globby has more rights than the woman he is inside.

Most people aren't going to do heroin or use prostitutes or get an abortion either.

Actually, a lot of women get abortions, about a million a year by some accounts.

So when does it get rights? What's the "thing" that bestows the right to life on the "entity" inside a woman's womb? Is it just locational? Inside this circle I have no rights outside I do?

It gets rights when it is born. that's when the government counts it on a census, and when it can be listed as a tax dependent.

Except it really doesn't.

As demonstrated by the fact that women only make 83% of what men make.
Answer this question, then.

If companies can save 17% on their labor costs simply by hiring women, why are any men still employed?

Really? When? Where in the law is it codified to prioritize one person's rights over another's? Give an example since we "do it all the time". When do we allow someone's right to no be inconvenienced over another person's right to live? BTW your effort to dehumanize the fetus is noted.

Less than a quarter of all women will have an abortion in their lifetimes which is less than 1/8th of the population. That's 12.5%. 10% of the US population will spend some amount of time in prison at some point in your life.

So it's locational. What's the difference between a baby after it's born and 1 sec before it's born that makes it murder to kill the former and ok to kill the latter?

Can I kill an illegal alien who's not counted on the census or listed as a tax dependent?

Actually, we do it on the highways. We lose tens of thousands of lives every year simply because we like to drive fast. Make all vehicles physically unable to exceed 35mph and those people live. My argument has always been that we need to have an honest discussion about human life and force the pro-aborts to acknowledge that they are willing to slaughter millions of humans for convenience' sake.

As much as they like to claim the contrary, we still value human life, and women generally will try to protect the life growing inside them instead of trying to kill it.

The lawyer fairy, after consultation with the mother, sprinkles his magic dust on the newborn, turning it from a nothing into a living human being.

Their arguments usually fall apart when subjected to analysis, like their viability argument falls apart when you consider Chris Reeve.

Why does a practice have to be codified into law? I could cite redlining and racial profiling, as fine examples of how we value some people's rights more than others. Or just look at the news when a pretty white girl goes missing. It's national news.

I don't need to "dehumanize" Globby, he's not a person to start with. He's an unviable mass of cells.

Actually, it's more like 40%, and that's not counting miscarriages that have to be removed.

I'm sure killing brown people is one of your wank fantasies, but no.

No one is killing a fetus 1 minute before it is born.

You guys keep going with that hysteric, but the reality is, the only late abortions are the ones that have gone totally wrong.

Why does a practice have to be codified into law?

Since that's what's being discussed....

I could cite redlining and racial profiling, as fine examples of how we value some people's rights more than others.

You're advocating for practices like redlining and racial profiling?

Or just look at the news when a pretty white girl goes missing. It's national news.

?

I don't need to "dehumanize" Globby, he's not a person to start with. He's an unviable mass of cells.

So when it's viable then it's murder? Because that happens long before birth.

Actually, it's more like 40%, and that's not counting miscarriages that have to be removed.

Nope,

I'm sure killing brown people is one of your wank fantasies, but no.

Your standard not mine. Also you are the only one advocating redlining and racial profiling like practices...
No one is killing a fetus 1 minute before it is born.
But you wouldnt outlaw it would you?
You guys keep going with that hysteric, but the reality is, the only late abortions are the ones that have gone totally wrong.
So you are against late term abortions? When's the cut off?

Where the woman and her doctor says it is.

Since that's what's being discussed....
That might be what you are discussing... I am dealing with reality that minorities are more likely to be racially profiled and women make only 85 cents on the dollar compared to men

But you wouldnt outlaw it would you?

I would leave that judgement up to a woman and her doctor. Anything else is the camel's nose in the tent

Where the woman and her doctor says it is.
Cop out.
That might be what you are discussing... I am dealing with reality that minorities are more likely to be racially profiled and women make only 85 cents on the dollar compared to men

Which isnt the Government prioritizing one person's rights over another. Try and keep up.

See above. Go simp somewhere else.

Which isnt the Government prioritizing one person's rights over another. Try and keep up.
If the government lets it happen, then they most certainly are. Who do you think does the profiling? Who enforces the fair wage laws?

Pragmatism.

If a woman doesn't want to be pregnant, she will find a way to not be pregnant.

The problem with your imaginary scenario of having an abortion 1 minute before birth is that no woman is going to go through 9 months of pregnancy and THEN change her mind.

The problem is, you guys can't be trusted. You guys said for years before Dobbs, you just wanted to regulate late term abortions, but the minute you got the flag on the field, you were trying for abortion bans before women even realize they are pregnant.

That might be what you are discussing... I am dealing with reality that minorities are more likely to be racially profiled and women make only 85 cents on the dollar compared to men
Then why are men still employed? Business owners are not idiots, so if they can save 15% on labor costs by hiring only women, they will.

We weren't talking about us "guys" Contrary to ridiculous lie that only "morons" believed Roe was a bad decision, you've just admitted your Goddess RBG thought it was a fundamentally flawed decision.
She did not.

She thought there were better ways to enshrine choice rights

Then why are men still employed? Business owners are not idiots, so if they can save 15% on labor costs by hiring only women, they will.
And somehow you think that’s a good thing?

I'm pointing out that harping on the 85% thing is ludicrous on its face, due to this truth. If companies could really get away with paying women less, they would hire women, not men.
So if not all companies do it that means it isn’t happening?

That’s your “logic”?

Sigh-------->it is all a Leftist smoke screen. It was not ratified in the allotted time frame, so has to be resubmitted to the states for consideration.

No other Amendment in US History has a time limit on the time for ratification.

Why do Republicans refuse to give rights to women????? What exactly is the point of that????

Hating women, killing women. It's disgusting.

What companies are only hiring women so they can pay less? Name them.

The 28th amendment doesn't grant women any more rights than they already have. Why aren't we passing an amendment protecting the rights of green-eyed people or left-handed people or people with a 10.5 shoe size? What rights does a man have that a woman doesn't? What thing can a man legal do that a woman cant?

No other Amendment in US History has a time limit on the time for ratification.
None other was written to include one. Sounds like you should take that up with whomever wrote it.
Why do Republicans refuse to give rights to women????? What exactly is the point of that????
To what rights are you referring? I lay odds of 10 to 1 that the only thing you can think of is abortion.
Hating women, killing women. It's disgusting.
Yeah, hating and killing women is more than disgusting. Who is doing that that is not facing justice? Name them and say what they've done.
